I received mine loosely in a box with a few other items I ordered. It was dusty dirty scratchy filthy. Would be hard to throw it a zip lock back at the very least? Threw it in top rack of dishwasher. Cleaned up... ok. Works as intended though but still....cheap zip lock bag for packaging to keep from getting filthy

I was wondering already if somebody invented this because the shaving foam on made out of metal and makes the shower dirty Great product and works I’m sure it’s super cheap to make and the customer pays a lot more

Funny to see all the awesome reviews for such a simple product idea but I concur! We had just remodeled our bathroom with marble tile and installed a new mirror in the shower for my husband to shave in the shower. I started to see rust marks where he puts the shaving cream can in the shower shelf and searched on Amazon for a cover for the bottom of the can and Voila! here it was. No rust stains, no problem, low expense. Cant get any better. Buy it if you can use it!

Wish I had thought of this before the can left some rust marks on our tile. Tile is dark so you can’t see the marks but this item is great and fits well.

Prevents rust lines, but it tends to trap water and cause slime under the protector if you dont touch it for a few days. This could be easily solved by slightly texturing the bottom to allow water and air to pass under.

Bought the large size to keep my hairspray can from leaving rust stains on the counter. Works perfectly!

It’s ok, does what it says, sits on the bottom of a shaving cream can and prevents rust marks from getting on the tub or whatever the can is sitting on in the bath/shower. I have the standard barbisol cans, the fatter ones, and the larger size was fine. Mine fits a little lose, I think picking up the can and shaking it could throw this rubber thing off the can, but I can live with that, just wish it was a little tighter. I considered wrapping the base of the can with some electrical tape or something, but not worth the effort. I doubt these are made for this application, as the rubber is very think, these are overkill, but someone realized they could work and markets them for this, been wondering myself what else may work. I do not like the rust stains from the cans so good product to prevent that.

A bit overpriced, but so far works great. Pay attention to the size. I had to order a second one of larger size. .
