I purchased my Tentproinc rv awning shade in March this year . I did attach it to my awning then to make sure it worked and had no apparent defects or problems, looked great and I can install it by myself but it takes a little time that way. July 30th; my first time to actually use it! It only took several minutes for my wife and I to take it out of the convenient carry case and have it up. We are on 4th day of using it and so far it has been great , where we are located we have afternoon sun and with temperatures in triple digits the extra shade made staying outside possible. Enjoying a light rain shower with temperature drop while writing this and the shade is helping to stop rain from blowing under awning . I have not had to contend with heavy wind yet but I did check if I could roll it up with the motorized awning and it worked great with plenty of clearance above door and oversized speakers. So far my wife and are very pleased and do recommend this product!

This shade has some weight to it and a feel of almost a rubber or latex or something like that. No clue what it’s made of, but feels durable. Time will tell, but friends have one from Tentproinc and have had it several years. They are permanent campers and theirs has held up…..this is why we chose the brand. Guys…..it’s a game changer! We felt the temperature difference as soon as we hung it up. Install was super fast and easy……one person could do it with a bit of a struggle due to the length, but two people it was easy and fast with one guiding it into the slot and the other keeping tension on the shade. We chose brown to match our awning amd camper trim. Looks great, cools the are, shades the sun and gives a bit of privacy. You can still see thru it, and light comes thru so you aren’t in the dark….just cooler! We have a 16’ awning and ordered the 15’3” shade. Perfect fit. Refolding to put back in their carrying case as weird most things didn’t go back in like from the manufacture. We can’t zip the case, but plan to find another storage solution. Most likely a flat bin. Would recommend to anyone wanting a little shade from the sun in those campsites with no trees! Love it!

Wow Excellent Item. Great to sit out on deck with this attached to our Sun setter Awning. Amazing how much cooler it makes sitting out

We just got this before our second to last camping trip of the year. Even though the sun wasn’t hitting the side of our camper directly, we decided to put it on the awning to see how it installed and hung. It was easy to put up and seems like it’ll be perfect next season. I’ll try to remember to come back next year to update my review after we’ve used it on sunny trips.

I have a Winnebago 2306bh. With a 15 ft awning. This drop screen fits perfectly. It is longer than the awning is wide but that is solved by folding the drop screen when we retract the awning so that we do not need to disconnect it every time. So far works like a charm.

We havent camped with it yet, but it was super easy & quick to install (according to my taller than me husband...). Im worried about using the pegs in stoney ground but another post had a tip about steal screw in tent pegs from Walmart being useful so will try that if it becomes a problem. I definitely wouldnt roll it up on our awning, its a bit too thick for that, but it comes with a handy storage bag & it wasnt a big deal to take it off (took Maybe 10sec) & fold it up. Overall Im happy with it & keen to get out & use it!

Easy to install. Our ground was too hard for the stakes so we used cinderblocks to anchor the bottom of the shade. I suggest metal stakes. Keeps area cool and adds some privacy. Havent had it long enough for durability comment. Hint: if you need to temporarily roll the awning up, slide the shade cloth off the awning and lay on ground near the stakes. This is so you wont have to pull up your stakes.

This was easy to install. It can even roll up into your awning when you’re not traveling with it. It gives us a lot of needed shade!

I use these for a sun shade where the old awning use to be b4 wind destroyed it. Im in a permanent home rv and these work great for cutting the suns heat on my trailer. They are made extremely well, l use bungee cords to a stake and the eyes are Very good with no tearing or stretching away from fabric. Highly recomend.

Very nice. A little trouble sliding at the end but still only 5-10 minute install!! We love ours and gives a hint of shade but still can see the pool!
