This isn’t a real Samsung SSD. It works fine to play games on but comes with lots of issues, buy from Best Buy or new egg for a genuine Samsung SSD

Fit my 8 year old HP Probook 4540s perfectly and gave it new life. It is amazing how much faster my laptop is working now.

I used this SSD to fix a 2013 HP Pavilion G6. This 7 year old laptop actually had an increase in performance with the replacement SSD. I will definitely purchase additional 870 QVO SSDs in the future. Great SSD for the price!

Ive upgraded a couple of aging laptops with traditional mechanical hard drives to their solid state equivalents. Samsung was the first brand I used, but not the only, so its far from the least expensive option out there. However while Ive usually been doing fresh OS reinstalls, this round I was upgrading my wifes laptop and cloning the drive was going to be needed. While Samsung provides a reimanging tool (and that was the reason I opted to stick with Samsung rather than less expensive alternatives) it didnt prove that useful. I know I really shouldnt be reviewing on that fact, but glitchy magician software and a slightly higher cost drive means Im leaving it at a 4 star review.
