    Ungraded from an 840 pro SATA 256gb to this 970 EVO plus NVMe 1 tb. Speed increase was amazing. Near instantaneous application response teamed with AMD 3700X.

    I wish I would have gotten the better model with more space, this thing is faster than any SSD Ive had before, video rendering is insanely fast, if youre going to upgrade from an internal SSD to an m2 its worth it. Id have gone with the 980 evo pro had I know it would be this good.

    This worked perfectly when upgrading my T14S 512GB SSD. I backed up all the partitions to an external storage using Acronis. Took out the original SSD. Then took the thermal pad off of the original and placed it on the new 2TB SSD. Installed it and restored. However, because the Windows Recovery partition is in between the original 512GB partition and the unallocated partition, Windows disk manager nor Acronis Disk Director could expand the original partition. So I just blew away the WinRE_DRV (windows recovery partition) and Windows 10 was able to extend the partition natively.

    Total nightmare to install on a Dell Inspiron 14 laptop. Samsung software only works if it senses a Samsung drive. I mounted the Ssmsung drive in a USB enclosure to clone my existing drive. WRONG! it now identifies as the enclosure name and the Samsung software cannot work as it does not recognize the drive as Samsung. Stupid way to do things Samsung. It makes upgrading to your drive very difficult and your cloning software useless. Had to find a third party cloning program. Tried 3 of them until the last one worked. Wasted many hours to get it to work. Documentation is horrible and the software worse. However, once I got it to work.....WOW! What a difference from the Dell NVME 128gb drive. Way, way faster. Proven by benchmarking program. Very happy with the performance. Makes a big difference. SAMSUNG please make it easier for customers to migrate their data.
