17-04-2025I am overdue for a new computer desk, so this monitor will make a delightful off-hand second screen for web browsing. I love the ease of use when it comes to tilting and portrait orientation (the screen turns into a vertical position seamlessly). This is the only reason why I am not returning the product for a refund. This was NOT an appropriate replacement for my 4K monitor because its maximum resolution is 1920 x 1080. Shame on me for not scrubbing the page before making a purchase, I guess, but I got here by filtering for a monitor capable of providing an image with 4K resolution. Right at the top of the page, it mentions Resolution 4K UHD 2160p. Whats up with the conflicting information? Someone running the SAMSUNG Amazon page really needs to get their mess together.

> 3 dayThe monitor is nice overall. Good size, easily adjustable, easy to assemble on the stand. My 2 issues with it are that unless your desk is very solid and sturdy, the monitor seems shakey like its slightly moving all the time just from me typing. I am upgrading to a better desk soon, so no issue for me, but keep this in mind if your desk isnt very solid. You will notice the monitor rocking back and forth. Also the strip on the bottom is prone to dust and dirt collecting on it.

> 3 dayBEWARE IF YOU DO NOT USE A MS WINDOWS PC WITH THIS MONITOR! After setting this monitor up, I learned from a Samsung rep that it will NOT automatically pivot when connected to a non-MS Windows PC. The Samsung support rep informed me that you would need to go into the operating system settings and manually change the orientation EACH TIME you want to change from landscape to portrait orientation and vice versa. Also, you must tilt the monitor before pivoting it, as the base interferes with the monitor when pivoting. Also, the power cable is just 4 feet long. I guess they saved one dollar in manufacturing costs this way.
