I thought mine was actually defective. Why? I bought it primarily to play games, but even though the load times were fast, the games lagged like you wouldnt believe. I saw people say thats what you get for getting an EXTERNAL SSD! before they, presumably, spit on the ground.

Running windows smoothly off of this. It’s perfect.

This drive is lightning fast, and works great for playing the PS4 games off of (can store PS5 games, but not actually play them off the drive). Just make sure to use the cable that ships with the drive, and plug it into the back of the unit. The front ports dont have enough power.

Good to store data, very easy to use and super light to carry.

How Or Why IDK It Got Hot. Returned It.

Very small package with a large capacity for total system backup for my laptop computer. This external solid state drive is much faster than the previous rotating disc drives I have been using and the expected reliability is a nice bonus.

Small size, light weight, fits any pocket, reads and writes super fast...etc

I am very happy with this SSD.
