Much handier and more robust than a conventional portable drive.

Overall, the product is good but doesnt have good speed when you will transfer larger files. I noticed after 70 % of the space will filled, I am not getting near to advertising speed and I was getting around 260mb/s

Lightning fast SSD drive, upload and download is super fast. Plus you can even connect it to your phone to transfer files off of your phone. I highly recommend getting one, especially if you travel and take lots of pics. recommend it if youre looking for good reliable storage.

Having waited for 2 months for Samsung to patch their software due to MAC OS Catalina update, I still cant get me data off my 3 disks. I have learned my lesson and dont intend to repeat. Why they mandate their own security software versus others, like western digital and others, that offer the ability to do so at the users end is beyond me. More importantly, I was a fool for getting enamored by the small size (which is really nice). That said, I would rather be able to use my own drive to store things without waiting for their smart teams to recode things while I sit and wait. This will happen again so beware of what you sink your money into with Samsung T5.
