My only complaint is that sometimes the SSD will stop functioning and disconnect from my computer without any reason, shutting down any files or applications I was accessing on it. Other than that it meets the basic requirements.

, I couldnt check that I didnt recognize the USB type cable because I didnt fasten it tightly. I wish there was no one like me who acted like a fool.

No heat issues at all used in Tesla Model Y for dashcam recording. There was a firmware update for it (Aug 2020) when initially plugged into my Windows 10 PC, which installed without issue. The drive is much more compact than a regular 2.5 SSD in an external case would be, and only requires a compact USB-C connection. It comes with both USB 3.2 spec USB C-C and USB A-C cables, which youll need for top speed transfers, assuming your PC supports USB 3.2 as well. Using a cheap USB 2.0 or 3.0 spec cable may restrict you to <480 Mbps.

I bought this specifically to use as USB Extended Storage on a Playstation 5. When I first connected, the PS5 stated that the drive becuase it dd not meet the minimum specifications for the PS5. However, when I disconnected the PS5 cable that I had been using to charge controllers, and connected the drive using the USB 3 to USB C cord included with the drive, it worked perfectly.

Had to get this drive because I upgraded my phone from a note 9 to a S21 ultra. And, has done away with using the SD card for these phones. They really want you to purchase and online storage like cloud or Dropbox. But once you spend all this money on a phone you dont want to buy a monthly service. So I found this drive to just take my pictures off my phone and can find it if you put them in folders for each month or week if you take many photos and dont to pay for storage that when u try to get your photos you cant get them or find them. And, so you dont fill your memory up on the new phone slowing it down.

This thing is super small and so much faster than I expected. I mainly got it to store pictures on, and I’m super happy with it so far.
