Overheats and randomly unmounts. Don’t buy. Go with the T5 instead.

This works to store dash cam footage and if you want to play your own music (mp3s). You just have partition the drive. Works perfectly!

Backing up using time machine takes less than an hour for 30/35gbs.

I purchased this to use for recording my PC gameplay directly to it (Nvidia Shadowplay) and Video Editing directly from it. It is very fast and is great for Youtube video editing in Adobe Premier. The only Con I have is the storage size! They say you get what you pay for.. I paid more for the Samsung brand and got less storage. Overall, I would recommend but go a size up from the size you actually need! Does not over heat and it is about the size of a credit card. I am happy with my purchase and may buy a bigger one in future! Blazing fast with large videos and I am using it with a USB 2.0 port on my Optiplex 990 :). Subscribe to “Mista CDawg” on YouTube!

I use this for my timemachine backup with my 16 Macbook pro. The T7 is extremely fast and so light and compact! I love this thing.

Works fine! Im not gaming on it but seems to be as fast as old moving parts internal drive. I love extending the live of old computers and this did the job.
