SanDisk Cruzer Glide 256GB USB 3.0 Flash Drive -SDCZ600-256G-G35

256G is just about right for me. I have NEVER had a bad or corrupted Sandisc product! I have been using this Flashdrive for saving a copy of my photos... fast & easy to transfer files from my camera for vacations or work or whatever. Also easy to carry with you anywhere you need to go.

I opted for a SanDisk drive because of name recognition. The drive failed and I began the tedious process of getting a warranty replacement on or before Oct 14. Its now Dec 7 and I just received the replacement today. In between those dates were multiple forms to fill out, phone calls with people in different countries, photos needing to be submitted, packaging my own USPS parcel and mailing it, and followup a month later when their records showed they hadnt received the broken drive when my tracking receipts showed that they did. I thought buying through Amazon was supposed to spare me this kind of turmoil - but not in this case. I will never buy SanDisk products again on Amazon or anywhere else. If I could charge my labor costs to SanDisk, they would get a whopping bill.

Never had an issue with SanDisk & same with the 256gb USB 3.1 drive. Push out style, it is plenty fast even running on 2.0, works fine in TV, phone with adapter, hubs & more. Always feel comfortable buying SanDisk have a few drives & cards 5-10+ years old still working fine.

Works without any problems.

This was supposed to be 256 GB. I could load a small file on it - but not a 21 GB file. I got the error that the destination drive was too small. But when I check the properties of the drive it shows 249 GB free. Something is wrong with the drive. I tried this on several USB ports. I even tried rebooting the computer. It did not help. Something is wrong with the drive. Probably why it was packed like this. I am returning this POS. Dont buy unless in the manufacturers box!

Loaded lost of music, now to see how it performs.

Even though this cost more than the other drives -- This was exactly 256 GB size and was able to copy to this USB very fast.
