Set up instruction is not clear. After that it is ok.

More gbs missing than normal for a new drive. But it very annoying that it won’t always connect to what you plug it into on first try. Have to insert multiple times - very annoying!!!

Very satisfied with this purchase after shopping quite some time. It comes in a retail blister pack like you would find in a store, which I believe attests to it being genuine. This is recognized as 231GB, not 256GB, but there is a standard technical reason for this, but thats not what this is about. Just know that relative to its size, the difference is the same as other similar devices. Before formatted (which is recommended), it shows an exe file (and 2 others) and it just takes you to a PDF website that shows a table of contents in a million languages, but doesnt have the rest of what the table refers to. Ignore any files that come on it. Anyway, I just formatted it and those files disappeared. Shipping was remarkable, since it said it could take 6 days, but was delivered in only 2.
