Perfect for what we needed!

Replaced an existing gold tone handle. Very happy with the new Schlage.

Bought this to replace a Kwikset handle (prior owner) which handle’s interior parts had snapped. The knob was no longer attached to the rest of the handle, rendering it useless. I’ve always trusted Schlage, and this did not disappoint. The handle feels more solid and is heavier than the Kwikset it replaced. The interior mechanism for the handle makes it clear it won’t snap like the competition. The inside handle is a big improvement over the old one’s knob. And the way the bottom of the outside handle is secured not just by screwing it into the door but by a drilled hole through the door and anchored by a screw from the other side: love how solid that will be. Excellent. Would buy this Schlage again.

Is a nice door knob, looks nice and is strong. Had it for 3 months and havent fade so far. Came in a good heavy duty package on time and good conditions.

Great Product. I wish it came with a drill bit for the bottom half, but beggars cant be ... something.

This is a beautiful door handle. We replaced a standard door knob with this and the difference is remarkable. It was very easy to install. My only complaint is when I used the template to mark on my door where to drill it was off. So I ended up with 2 holes in my door. I have used templates before and never had issues. The only saving grace was the handle still covered up the first hole.

Looks amazing and much easier to install than expected. The Schlage iPhone app is easy to use once it’s all setup. I thought I would have trouble drilling a hole through my door but measuring a few times and drilling once worked out for me. The adjustable sliding bolt piece on the door knob portion that goes through the hole you drill gives you some leeway if it’s not in the perfect place. I will say this however, pairing the unit with Wi-Fi took was the most frustrating part. It took way longer than expected because the Schlage iPhone app would find the lock but not the network. Found some YouTube video explaining the issue that helped me through it. I would deduct half a star for that. I have a lot of different hubs for various automated devices and they were a breeze to pair to Wi-Fi compared to this. Hopefully you don’t have to deal with this issue at all.
