super cute and easy to use. i had a hell of a time finding a hard drive with a usb-c port, and this one did not disappoint

I like that it is compact but holds a lot. Easy to use and now has all my home videos stored onto it.

I use this to mirror my backup folder on my Mac. Works well and performs fast and silently. Well made. Great look n feel. Easy plug and play. No regrets with this hard drive.

Like the feature of having to login each time you use it. I have two computers and my data is safe.

The write speed is decent and the device doesnt seem to overheat. The small size makes the device portable - the unique cable requirement makes portability a chore.

This device is fragile and poorly designed. I’ve used WD most of my life and wanted to try a different brand. Well, that didn’t go so well. Right after, (not exaggerating here) I transferred my life to this HD it fell 1 feet, onto a highly carpeted floor wheel it was in an insulated case. I plugged it back in and it started to beep - I had to send it into seagate for data recovery (thankfully I purchased)

Backup, backup, backup!!! You hear this all the time, but most people just dont copy their files as often as they should, or not at all. Then what do you do when your computer goes down and you lost all your pictures and important papers/files. Ring a bell? With this device, there is no more excuses. Its fairly fast to copy over your stuff to a safe location. Then keep those files backed up at least once a month. That way if something happens to your PC, then you will get back most of your stuff.

Its a fine hard drive for the price, but I bought this because I thought it used a USB-C connection. instead, its a proprietary connection leading to a USB-A...with an A to C adapter. That means one more thing to remember every time I want to connect this hard drive to a modern computer.

I am using this to back up photos and video clips to relieve brain space on my Mac. Of course, I have another of a different brand as well as extra backup. I had no problems formatting and was able to start dragging & dropping files immediately. Great price for 1TB and a good solution compared to the many, many flashdrives of every high-rated brand under the sun that has failed.
