I used to have a Dyson but wanted to avoid paying the cost for a new Dyson. I gave this vacuum a try, but I was not as happy with it as I had hoped. Its just ok for light jobs, but not enough to really vacuum for pet hair. I used on sofa and floors. It is okay for a quick job but not overly satisfied with the performance.

I am SO happy with this vacuum. I had a $60 clunky thing before this (seems like a dinosaur in comparison), but I recently got two cats and they shed like crazy. This vacuum took care of all the hair and cat litter like it was nothing! Works equally as well on my carpet as it does on the hardwood. Really easy to use. Love that it detaches into a handheld and comes with extra attachments. Pulled a whole cat’s worth of hair out of the couch. :) My only minor complaint is that I still had probably 5 minutes of work left to do before it died, but there was a lot of litter to pick up in the bathroom since my last vacuum was terrible at it. I think the 40 minutes will be plenty of time going forward. If you are thinking about getting this, just do it! You won’t be disappointed. I will look forward to vacuuming now!

My mom loved my Dyson V7. I liked it but felt like it was built like a kids toy, so much cheap flexible plastic! Tried this one out as it seemed very comparable to the Dyson and another friend had a shark wond model that impressed me. It works! I guess thats assumed but it does suck stuff up off your floor. It is just a bit weaker on suction than the Dyson but I was pleasantly surprised that it wouldnt shut off constantly when vacuuming a shag throw rug we have under my bed (like the Dyson would). So it may take an extra pass that you would likely be doing anyway, but it doesnt shut off. I also found the run time to be very similar to the Dyson. If the two were the same price Id have a very hard time choosing (that wall mount for the Dyson is pretty slick) but at MSRP... This one is a no hesitation purchase.

I wish I would have bought this sooner!! With 2 toddlers and a big dog that sheds like crazy this thing keeps me sane. I can easily pull it out and vacuum everyday or multiple times a day. Which I hated doing before with a big heavy corded vacuum. My daughter even loves that i can take the middle piece out and it becomes a mini vacuum that actually works for her. I was worried when I seen that it didn’t come with a base or something to hold it while it charges but it actually breaks down and stores very easily. I can vacuum my whole downstairs so quickly. And it makes vacuuming my stairs 10x easier! I just love this thing so much!

I have gone through several cordless vacuums, all of which had problems after a few uses. This one so far is the best. Good suction, lightweight.

Not up to par with other Shark I have. Very lacking as a cordless especially with regard to Dyson V7. Returned.

Currently using this for a month and lemme tell you if you live with anyone who sheds hair constantly and its long hair then this vacuum is not ideal. Hair gets trapped around the roller hair and while you can use a scissor to cut through it its still a hassle and doesnt get everything. So the real solution is to literally unscrew the roller head and screw everything back in. Dont know why they dont have an easier way to go about upkeeping this thing is probably poor oversight. Otherwise it does a decent job sucking my cats fur and I like the light feature that lets me see the particles on the floor. Shark should design some kind of tool to remove the stuff that you cant get off easily from the roller brush either then I wouldve been less annoyed with this vacuum. Would not recommend this vacuum unless youre bald or dont shed too much hair.

It works fine but the suction seems low. Luckily to do have a turbo button. It does the job but i dont like how the little wheels sound rolling across my floor. I sounds like its messing up the floor but i dont see any damage. I wouldnt buy and im likely to recommend but with caution. There may be something better.

I am a big SHARK FAN, I may have expected a little more from this vac, because it’s a Shark BUT considering the price so far I am pleased I love the fact that you can reach under furniture, it sounds like it isn’t delivering on suction but it did a great job with cat hair and litter which is why I purchased for quick cat clean up in between normal corded SHARK vacuuming

I had a corded shark rocket. Bought it on Amazon 7 years ago, refurbished. The hose on it split so I researched repairing it. I thought, Id rather not have a cord. It takes up time and I hate the cord. I have a long trailer house. Bought this vacuum last week. Boy am I glad I did. Its lighter weight, cordless. Takes 3 hours to charge at first or if u use all the battery. But I keep it plugged in and is always ready to go. I gave my old one to a friend who was happy to have it and repair it. She is also in need of a new vac. I love it and u should too. I did buy it when the price was $150 and I chose Amazon payments. Easiest ever. Thank you.
