The first thing you notice is the packaging- wow carefully shipped to avoid breakage. Note to self: do not drop this it will break. Next it is larger than my two other shave cream bowls and I love the weight and that the marble- I did not realize when ordering it was marble, however it has a foam like bottom glued on that prevents slipping and the weight discourages you from handling it carelessly. It seemed a bit large but lathers up nicely with a brush and a minute or two and works better than I thought at first. It is attractive and would work for many other purposes other than shaving

This is simply a fantastic and beautiful bowl. I ordered the Green Onyx which is stunning in quality and craftsmanship. My wife, after seeing it, suggested we use it as decorative peice in our living room! Great value for the money!

I like this bowl. It heavy but not as big as I expected. The size works though. I wanted a different color but this is the only one they had at the time.

It arrived wrapped up very securely and came with a certificate of authenticity. It is a beautiful marble pattern and is hefty. I like that it has a little foam on the bottom to protect the bowl and the surface that you put it on. Its advertised as a shaving cream bowl, but I will be using it to hold random trinkets on my coffee table.

I have a blackland shaving brush with a metal body, so whenever I use this bowl, the metal frame hits it and it creates a bit of an annoying sound. Aside from that, its a ceramic bowl with a cool style, what else do you expect?

I ordered this bowl to keep my rings in when I’m working in the kitchen. I did wish that my bowl had white veins like it’s advertised not brown like what I got but I still like it. The marble is thick and very well made.

Heavy duty: Im skeptical this bowl is entirely made of marble, but its a very hefty bowl. Its easily the heaviest shaving bowl in my collection. Aesthetic: I love the aesthetic of this bowl. This bowl looks great with every safety razor and shave brush I pair it with. (If youre passionate about wet shaving, youll understand) Size: In terms width and height, this bowl measures out exactly to the listing. Lather: Typically, wider, slightly shorter shave bowls help produce the highest amount of lather. However, as you can see in my photos, its very easy to produce large amounts of lather. (I used 2 dime sized scoops of shave soap, and lathered for less than 1 minute with a fine haired badger brush, to produce that lather) Bottom line: I have shave bowls in my collection that run 6 times the premium, of this bowl, but dont look as aesthetical pleasing, or are as well made. I like this shave bowl enough, that Im going to pick up every other design offered. 5 stars

The bowl has a nice weight to it, stays in the hand thanks to the bottom peice. And the smooth marble makes it easier to make a lather. And with the weight it doesnt go flying out of your hand when making the lather. Plus it looks amazing. At 10 dollars I am very surprised.
