Heavy duty: Im skeptical this bowl is entirely made of marble, but its a very hefty bowl. Its easily the heaviest shaving bowl in my collection. Aesthetic: I love the aesthetic of this bowl. This bowl looks great with every safety razor and shave brush I pair it with. (If youre passionate about wet shaving, youll understand) Size: In terms width and height, this bowl measures out exactly to the listing. Lather: Typically, wider, slightly shorter shave bowls help produce the highest amount of lather. However, as you can see in my photos, its very easy to produce large amounts of lather. (I used 2 dime sized scoops of shave soap, and lathered for less than 1 minute with a fine haired badger brush, to produce that lather) Bottom line: I have shave bowls in my collection that run 6 times the premium, of this bowl, but dont look as aesthetical pleasing, or are as well made. I like this shave bowl enough, that Im going to pick up every other design offered. 5 stars

I ordered this bowl to keep my rings in when I’m working in the kitchen. I did wish that my bowl had white veins like it’s advertised not brown like what I got but I still like it. The marble is thick and very well made.

This totally matches my kitchen Corian countertops and it’s marble, so this was a no-brainer shopping decision. The price was incredible so I was a little hesitant whether it was actually marble, but it is, and it’s heavy but not too heavy since it’s a smaller bowl. I’m usually mine as a salt cellar for course-ground Himalayan salts and will also use for sauces or dips. *** Helpful? I rely on customer reviews for all my online purchases, so I hope so! ***

Very pretty onyx bowl, well crafted and lovely. My husband is using it as a shaving bowl with a bristle brush and it looks beautiful on the bathroom countertop. Highly recommend.

I like this bowl. It heavy but not as big as I expected. The size works though. I wanted a different color but this is the only one they had at the time.

Kick it... ...up a notch. Your Luxury Shave. This does that; at least it does for me. Its about the largest shave bowl I have (I have a few). Ive transitioned to mostly using those hoyty-toyty shave creams, like the ones that come in a tub or a tin. Still, I think this will fit pretty much any shave soap puck that you throw at it, with room to spare. Normal, rectangular bars of soap, probably not so much. Im pretty amused with the picture of this on the product page (image 3) filled to the brim with cream; thats a lot of shaving. So, these are going to have their own individual look, characteristics, color variations etc. Mine is an attractive light green and the entire bottom of the bowl is a sort of mottled rusty gold. There are a couple of areas at the top/rim where I can see a *sort of* crack. Its not actually cracked, but you can see a sort of line. I used one of my badger shave brushes and some cream from a tube and created a nice lather inside this. Very little chance of spilling any lather, again this is a pretty big bowl. Nice gift for myself, glad I ordered it. I hope this review has enabled you to make an informed purchase decision. I rarely give an overall 5 star rating.

The bowl has a nice weight to it, stays in the hand thanks to the bottom peice. And the smooth marble makes it easier to make a lather. And with the weight it doesnt go flying out of your hand when making the lather. Plus it looks amazing. At 10 dollars I am very surprised.

The bowl feels nice in the hand, and its large enough to fit a mashed up Arlo stick with ease. The bottom has a cheap little foam pad which prevents it from slipping. It hasnt fallen off even around water which is a good sign. It looks great paired with my brush and shaver, and its dirt cheap at $10!

Used as expected

This is very cute. It has alot of the natual( at least I hope it is) cracks or scratches. It does have one little knight in it on top rim. But it will work just fine..
