I bought several sets of these to use with live-edge wood shelves, and the brackets will work perfectly in the space! However, the included screws are just terrible - they appear to be made of some soft material and strip easily, one even broke inside the wall (sooo much fun to deal with that one!!), which ultimately halted our install. Also, the holes in the brackets are not countersunk, so the provided screws do not lay flat and the bottom one pushes the shelf by more than 1/8, so if youre measuring exactly (as we were) the shelves wont fit the brackets. A trip to Ace is in order for the right screws... We could not complete the install this weekend due to the poor quality screws, thus overall four starts, as the brackets themselves have the right industrial look, are heady-duty, and will work great with better screws.

The brackets themselves are nice a sturdy but the hardware included is terrible. My husband who is basically a handyman had a difficult making the screws and anchors work. One of the screws broke and the anchors pushed right throw the wall of the hole was big enough and if the hole was any smaller they bent in half. Very cheap plastic fasteners, I feel for the price that is very disappointing. If you really like the brackets I recommend buying your own screws and anchors. Even if you put them in a stud, still get better screws they strip easy and brake. Overall I’m very happy with the way this turned out.

These shelf brackets are perfect to hold my books. I have another shelf with these brackets holding 48 hard cover books plus decor. They are very sturdy, fashionable brackets. Very easy to install.

Description shows both two hole and three holed back plate for the 5.5 X 4 Inch bracket. A bit confusing. We order these (Shelf Brackets 5.5 x 4 Inch) because we wanted the three holed back plate and got the duel holed ones. They are very sturdy so we will drill in the third hole we need. Please update description to reflect what you actually will receive.

Because of advice from previous buyers, i didn’t use the screws that came with the shipment. Happy how this worked.

Wonderful brackets! Very sturdy and worked exactly how I wanted them to. Wasnt thrilled with the anchors but I had others I prefer and for the price it was totally worth using my own
