> 3 dayWhen we decided to create a playroom for our 6 month old in our combined living/dining room area, I was determined to find a play mat that was functional, but would not draw too much attention to it being a play area. This mat fits in perfectly with our decor without clashing. The reason I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is it is not as cushioned or padded as I would like. We have this over a tile floor and it is not thick enough for my daughter to lay on it alone. We always put down a separate play mat or blanket when we lay her down. Also, if you have pets (particularly large dogs) I would recommend keeping them far away from this mat. My dogs have managed to leave nail prints and claw marks all over it! All in all I am happy with this mat based on its appearance and function, but wish it was made a little thicker, especially based on the price.

Greater than one weekIt was a little but more money than what I wanted to spend on a foam mat, but I’m glad I got it. It’s super durable, the blocks stay together and my daughter loves it. The pattern also adds to the modern look to our home.

> 3 dayThe reason I rated these 4 stars is because our dogs nails punctured many areas on the foam tiles. I wouldnt recommend for those of you who have pets or keep them gated off. Otherwise, they serve their purpose and I like the modern color scheme.

Greater than one weekSome here have mentioned that there is a strong smell when opening the package. I was planning on airing it out in the garage for a few days. But when the tiles arrived, I didnt smell anything. I just wiped it down and used it right away. Im guessing the manufacture saw the reviews and corrected this problem. The tiles also came with extra edges. I have a few left over after completing my pattern. Im guess maybe some patterns calls for different number of edges. Anyways, its nice that it was shipped w/ extra edges. Im glad I spent the extra money to purchase these rather than the bright color ones you see everywhere.

> 3 dayPrice is steep but I do like it very much. Very modern and matches our house and easy to clean.

> 3 dayI previously purchased from another retailer, that version came in a reusable zip up plastic storage, this version came in cardboard box. Some of the connections have gaps which was not consistent with my previous purchase. I got this on sale so all is well, but I would be returning if I had paid full price.

> 3 daySo far working great for a nice pad for my crawling daughter to play on that blends in well with our living room. I like how you can change the patterns, we chose the chevron for ours. The only drawback is that my curious daughter does like to pull up the edge pieces at times but its not too bad. I was worried about the cream colored tiles but weve had for months and it still looks clean.

PS
Greater than one weekThese are great! I wanted something to match the decor in babys room and not overwhelm it with bright colors. I thought it was fun to customize the design. One thing I love about it is how you can actually build the mat around furniture if you dont have a perfectly square floor space available. The one thing that would make it even better would be edge tiles that fit the different angles, when you create a different shape but that is a very minor criticism. The tiles are easy to clean with a vacuum or broom, and to wipe clean with a wet mop or wipes. Its a nicely cushioned surface for my little one to play on while he is trying to crawl and stand up. I didnt notice any smell to them as was written in another review.

> 3 dayPricey but adds a nice touch to the playroom. I like that you can design whatever style you want. Very thick and durable (I’ve had it for 3 years now and not a rip or tear yet!)
