> 3 dayTried to use this outdoors in a rain proof box. Despite being only 100 ft away from the controller, the signal was not sufficient for a reliable signal. Also, found out the hard way that it only will handle the rated 15amps as a steady load. Peak startup amps blew something inside and it never worked again. Contacted support and they recommended adding a relay to resolve.

16-04-2025This power strip works very well. Make sure you take note that you do need the YoLink Hub in order for it to work as a smart plug. I did not know this when I ordered and I would have had to figure it out the hard way, had it not been for this company. They were nice enough to send me an email after I ordered this product and notify me that I needed the hub to accompany it. Not only did they let me know, they offered to send me the hub free of charge! I received it only a few days later. Its all setup and working great now. I would highly recommend this product because it works well and they have great customer service!! Just one thing I would like to see added...a widget for my smartphone so I can control the hub without opening the app. That would make this 100% perfect but its still 99% without it. Thank you for the great experience!

> 3 dayThe unit worked as advertised - it allowed remote activation of a ventilation fan. But it only worked once. It then just went dead. Yo Link has not responded to my inquiries.

> 3 dayI connected this to my furnace and attic fan. I did this so I could set automation to turn the furnace off if the smoke alarm went off or if a leak was detected in the overflow pan. It worked great but there was a flaw where it would stay off if there was a power interruption even if it was set to last state or on in the settings. More than once it was off for a few hours. I set routines to turn it on every couple of hours as a work around, but it still meant my ac would be off for awhile if there was even just a quick brownout. Fortunately they just released a firmware update that addressed this and now it will resume the last state after a power failure. If you have Yolink make sure you occasionally check for new firmware updates by going into the settings for the device.
