> 24 hourGet the kasa smart plug instead. They are easy to connect and never fail. I got kasa after buying the esicoo and they were wonderful 1. Esicoo has 6 different types of smart plugs and none have model numbers 2. The instructions say hold button for 5 seconds and it starts blinking. The app has two choices:slow blink and fast blink. The plug blinks right in the middle and neither option works. 3. Uninstalling and reinstalling the app does not help 4. There are no way to reset the plug. 5. The plugs will not connect to app. 6. You will spend hours trying to connect them and fail. 7. There is zero tech support. 8. These are cheaply made and throw onto Amazon to collect free money from suckers 9. Your phone will be connected to your 2.4ghz wifi and the app will think it’s 5ghz and ask you to switch. This is after an uninstall and reinstall of the app. 10. You have to search for the app name to down load. Ap name not found on Amazon description. 11. No manual online. 12. I have worked in IT for 20 years. This is the only electronic device that I have hated. It’s like the manufacture created it as a gag gift to piss off a friend. Do NOT but these plugs. They will make you scream in frustration.

> 24 hourI have to unplug them and plug them back in every two weeks or so when they stop showing up on the phone app. The phone app is a swiss army knife made for dozens of different kinds of devices, and needs more permissions than are justified. Every couple of months the app forgets who you are and youll be digging for your login credentials, so youve been warned... put them in a password manager. Other than that... yeah... they work OK.

> 24 hourThey worked, the only downside is - I changed my password to my wifi router, which caused me to have to individually reset every plug. 5 starts if they had a simple integration for moments like that.

> 24 hourTHIS IS HOW YOU PAIR WITH ALEXA: You have to download the Cloud Intelligence app and you must have the Alexa app. Put the device in pairing mode by holding the button for 5 seconds until it starts blinking. Using the Cloud Intelligence app, select add a device or use the auto find feature. You must have a 2.4g wifi signal for it to pair and you must input your wifi password. You must also allow permissions for Bluetooth and precise location while using the app. Once the device is found, edit the device and rename it whatever you want. Then Open the Alexa app. You must be logged into BOTH accounts. Using the Cloud Intelligence app, go to the profile tab, select More Services and youll see amazon alexa and google assistant. Select amazon alexa, select Bind Account and your phone will open your Alexa app and it will attempt to link the two apps/accounts together. This opens a web page and will either be successful or not. Your Alexa app will get a notification saying its been paired, and your alexa may even audibly tell you that it found new devices, with the names you gave the devices if you edited the names in the Cloud Intelligence app. TEST TO SEE IF WORKING AND THEN DELETE THIS INVASE DATA STEALING APP. It is granted permissions to your search history, photo library, exact location, all your bluetooth and wifi info. Plugs work great but the amount of info it requires to install is downright unacceptable

> 24 hourI wish I would have seen the exact same plugs that uses the Smart Life app for the same price, before I purchased these. These plugs run off an app named Cloud Intelligence. So, it takes additional steps to set them up. Its another app you have to pair with Alexia. Its another app to sign up for, another account, another password, and another company with your email address. Its another app you need to figure out how to use. Later, you have to remember which app runs what plug and it gets overwhelming. I have multiple light bulbs, multiple plugs, multiple light switches, a thermostat, a washer, and a TV. Now, guess the name of the app that runs what, if you have to reset it. Other than that, the plugs work fine.

> 24 hourI have several brands of smart plugs and products. All I own are google or Alexa compatible. This plug is not seamless. I have to link Alexa everytime I install a new plug. Others manufacturers are recognized as soon as I install. Moreover, the manufacturer Cloud interferenceis not on amazons list of plug manufacturer. Ill keep them because they are cheap. I assume this manufacturer bought out a defunct Chinese manufacturer or just changed their name.

> 24 hourI setup two of the four devices so far, and performed a quick test of countdown & timer features, manual on/off with the physical switch and the app. I used my Google account to register my logon with the Cloud Intelligence app (impossible to mess up) and then the Alexa skill setup & account linking was easy too. The reason for only 4 of 5 stars is that I ran into an issue that was NOT documented within the instructions: Devices could not connect to my 2.4GHz Wi-Fi while using WPA2 for the security setting. After being unable to find a solution, I went to my router portal and started tooling around... Eventually finding that normal (older) WPA security setting allows these devices to connect successfully.

> 24 hourI love the ease of setting these up and adding them to be controlled by Alexa. For some reason once and a while a plug will randomly go offline (I have 8.) Not a huge deal for most of them. You just have to unplug for a few seconds, then replug in. Not terrible, just annoying. I would say probably once a week or maybe longer one random plug will be offline.
