Sony WH-1000XM4 Wireless Premium Noise Canceling Overhead Headphones with Mic for Phone-Call and Alexa Voice Control, Black WH1000XM4

I did lots of research before purchasing over-the-ear noise cancelling headphones. The XM4s landed at the top of my list after weighing pros and cons of about 4-5 other models (including AirPods Max and even the XM5s). I’m happy with these, but they aren’t perfect.

Definitely would buy this for someone I love or someone who enjoys music as much as I do, but nervous to a critical. The moise cancelation is a good 8/10 since it does block out wind and some voices buy unless the music is up about more than halfway you can still hear people. Otherwise the design is soft and comfy and overall its been nothing but great. >w<

Ive tried so many headsets and earbuds looking for everything in one package; comfort, decent surround sound, compatible with gaming consoles... Everything fell flat thus far. I finally tried these Sony1000XM4s. Theyre very comfortable for long term listening or gaming. I can use them on my Amazon FireTV when my girlfriend is sleeping with no problems in hearing whats going on around me in close proximity. Theyre compatible with PS4 and Xbox One S, although you need an adapter for the PS4 (avantree works perfectly), and for the Xbox they must be wired to the controller. Overall, from the dozen+ headset units Ive tried these are the only ones Im satisfied with.

I got these cans to replace my Bose NC 700 but they didnt come close. the multipoint function did not quite work for me at (on Mac, IOS devices). I WFH for the last 6 months so i need something reliable to work between 2 devices. these did not come close. The sound quality is there but ANC is a shade better on the Bose 700s and the multipoint access did not really work for me. These cans went back in a few days after using them since I got really annoyed after having to synched them to my devices constantly.

After my dog ate my Beats, I researched a replacement. This headphone was #1 on a number of surveys.

Very good HD sound quality, I tried them with a FLAC music file and performed to a very high level.

The noise cancellation on this sonys is wonderful. The sound is almost as good as wired good quality cans, more so using the LDAC codec. The price is high so I was waiting for a good discount and I jumped at the offer I got.

Love this product everything about it is amazing!! The only drawback I found and this is very nit picky but the touch pad on the right ear is useless basically, it’s very hard to use but you can just turn up or down and change the song on your phone or computer.
