> 3 dayI have 2 msr stoves that I have used for several years: pocket rocket 2 and windpro 1. This one is just more refined with a cleaner more consistent looking flame. This thing just had a beautiful flame. And it is quiet. The pocket rocket hit 76 dB, windpro hit 73dB. The Soto was 64. Very quiet! While the supports dont fold down as flat as I like, the are very stable. The windpro had piezo electric start as well but its less reliable than soto. Its is clearly the best stove of the 3.

> 3 dayI have done two trips with my Soto Windmaster and am very happy with it. On a few windy occasions I had no issues with the stove staying lit and working well. The burner control is good and Im able to simmer things.

> 3 daySo simple, so light, ignitor takes a few tries but had worked each time. Took it on a 2 day traverse of the NH Presidentials and I was able to boil water in less than 3 minutes and also keep it at a super low simmer and it performed well for both functions.

> 3 dayI have many burners, but this soto windmaster is definitely faster , I didnt use my windscreen either. Putting on and off the pot holder / stand is a bit tricky for me though. But overall this is a great burner.

> 3 dayIve been hearing about how good this stove is for years, and finally decided to try it out. It really is that good....particularly in a breezy environ. Very well machined. The regulator allows the flame to be super adjustable. I happen to prefer the 4Flex pot stand to the 3 prong....once Id figured out how to install it quickly/reliably. My adjustment valve is a little too easy to turn, and you can bump it out of adjustment quite easily. The only thing Id like to see improved is a hard shell case / box to protect the stove. That little nylon bag is kind of sketchy. :) mike

> 3 dayThis stove has so many reviews out there that I am not going to say too much that has not been said already. Love it. Paired it with an Evernew UL cook set and it can nest in there with a can of fuel. Took a 5 day trip with it about a month ago and everyone like the setup and was impressed with boil times. I came from a BSR and all in my pack group still had them. There is a def advantage with wind and boil times with this. Used one 4oz can for my trip (am/pm boils). The one thing that I had problems with was the igniter. It seemed like it struggled in the cold for reason. Most of the time I just an external infinity in source to not waste fuel trying to get it to ignite. Overall great stove.
