I use this for backpacking, solo tent camping and when my daughter is sleeping in the camper and I just want a quick cup of coffee outside where I won’t wake her. It’s fast, reliable and easy to carry. It’s fits with 1 small canister in the snow peak titanium mini solo coolest. It works with all of the sizes of iso-butane. The flame is adjustable so you can minimize how much flame you give off. It’s stable - I really like the 4 prongs because I often am using a semi-level surface (like a rock) and it hold it up. I haven’t had trouble with wind, but I do carry a piece of foil to wrap around it just in case (its the top of a buffet casserole container).

Im really happy with this little stove. It works well in windy weather, as advertised. Ive tried less expensive comparable brands and would have saved money if I bought this one first.

I purchased this so I can heat up some water for my coffee when I am out camping. It works great and fits a small kettle just fine without any other attachments. Had no issues even when I was heating up some water on the windy coastline. Worth every penny.

Ive been hearing about how good this stove is for years, and finally decided to try it out. It really is that good....particularly in a breezy environ. Very well machined. The regulator allows the flame to be super adjustable. I happen to prefer the 4Flex pot stand to the 3 prong....once Id figured out how to install it quickly/reliably. My adjustment valve is a little too easy to turn, and you can bump it out of adjustment quite easily. The only thing Id like to see improved is a hard shell case / box to protect the stove. That little nylon bag is kind of sketchy. :) mike

I bought this stove to take camping, I didn’t realize I had to bring food too but I’ll still give it 9 stars. This stove makes combustion like gloves on. I feel warm when hands on burner but no problem when on pot. Cooked my food no problem but had a hard time poaching my eggs. I’m not a poacher but heard people do it outside. My gas can was old as it smells like farts so be sure to try out cans in store before purchase. Over all would recommend.

Awesome in windy conditions. Light weight, quick starting and easy to use.

Extremely light burner nests in its bag in my 700 ml pot perfectly. Igniter button worked every time. very fast boil time especially when coupled with a wind screen. With 1 fuel canister I boiled water for 25 freeze dried meals, 2 pots of rice at 30 minutes each, and countless cups of coffee. Unlike units with an integrated pot system this burner works with any size pot, large or small. Flame can be adjusted from low to simmer to high for boil but it boiled very quickly even at lower settings. Also worked flawlessly at 9700 ft elevation. would certainly purchase this unit again!!

I took this new stove with me on a kayaking trip to Lake Powell, in southern Utah. For the most part, the weather was nice with only slight breezes, but there were a few days that were significantly windy. On those days, as well as on all the other days, the SOTO WindMaster Stove worked flawlessly! I am very pleased with how well this stove performed! Thank you, SOTO! This stove works VERY well in windy conditions and is low on amount of gas used to cook with.

This is GOOD. Serrated legs grip the pan. Ignition hasnt failed not even in windy conditions (always pack lighter regardless).
