I don’t know how it works and I don’t care. This thing is a miracle! Our cat food is usually overrun with ants in minutes but we haven’t seen any near the food since this arrived - I’m ordering a second one.

I have been using it for over a week now with no ants getting in our out door food bowl. We had a serious ant problem and no matter what I tried did not work until I tried this tray.

Works wonderfully. I’ve had this item for a couple of weeks and haven’t had a problem with ants getting into the food dish.

We moved from Colorado to Oregon where apparently, ants always come in from the rain. I’ve tried everything to keep them out of my cat’s food bowls. Ant bait, “anti-ant” food bowls, home remedies, etc. I literally watched ants try to figure out how to get in these little disks and they finally gave up and haven’t been back! I will say, I did need to use some of the grippy plastic stuff you put in shelves or under rugs, otherwise his bowl would slide off as he ate. 11/10 solved my problem and would buy again!

I have an outside kitty that was left by the previous owners of my home. Every year we fight to keep nasty ants out of his food! This is the perfect solution!! It’s so simple…just a plastic disc you sit the food bowl on, but it is flipping genius!!! When the ants climb onto it, the only way up is through the groove in the disc. There they get trapped in a maze and can never get to the food!! I am really hopeful that this works. Poor Goldie needs safe and ant free food to eat!

Fist day or so there have been a couple small ants in the food plate but compared to the 100s that are normally present there this is a winner!

I had a lot of hope for this thing, sadly the very first time the ants found it, they had no trouble at all getting to the food. It barely slowed them down.
