Greater than one weekWell I will give this siren a 9 our of 10 there is 2 complaints that i have but they are not the most serious of complaints...1 the speak was not black so i painted it in 3 mins with some flat black paint so that it didnt stick out behind the grille. the other complaint is that it is not loud enough...the only reason i say that is that i dont think any speaker i could get would be loud enough for me....

> 3 dayI had a cheap siren before and this is much louder than the one I had before. My only complaint is the print for which setting you are using seems to be one off from where the knob points to.

> 3 dayThis is not a toy! This is professional level sound. I tested it with a battery on my back porch and neigbors came out!

> 3 dayThis product is just what I wanted. Please do not follow the bad reviews on sound quality. This set is great and really loud. Definitely able to move traffic while enroute to a scene or station. I have bought two of these and couldnt be happier. The only thing I wish was different is that the unit had a full backlight not just what is selected. But that is a minor issue in just my opinion. Arrived on time and packaged professionally.

Greater than one weekIts loud even under the hood. A cinch to install. However, the unit keeps sounding the siren at random.. which is annoying when you have it on to yell at bad drivers and it goes off. I just key up the handset to make it quit. My friend bought the same item for the Gambler 500 and he has no problems out of it.

> 3 dayThis was a pretty good value. Its louder than a lot of other units that cost quite a bit more that other guys at my department run. That said, I wish the siren would just turn on with a switch and not by use of the volume control knob. The other thing that could really be improved is if the rocker switches for the accessories would illuminate. Its hard to tell if my emergency lights are on if the switches would light up it would be easy to tell with just a quick glance.

Greater than one weekOh man, I love this thing. Its ridiculously loud and has lots of options with various siren tones, the horn, and the radio repeat. There is a lot of empty space in the case, and could definitely be smaller and easier to mount than it is. I elected to stick it under my seat. Do yourself a favor and do a couple of light coats of black spray paint on the speaker before you put it behind your grill. Also, the instructions are pretty vague, in particular how to hook up the horn relay and radio audio input. I have one of the horn relay wires wired up to see ground, and havent figured out the radio audio part.

> 3 dayNot as loud as I thought it would be. Its ok, but not super loud. It wasnt too bad to install. Hardest part there was getting through the firewall in my truck. I do wish they had included a negative wire for the extra control switches on the console. Kinda a pain to hook lights up to it when having to split where the positive and negaitive go. I gave up and didnt even bother with them.

> 3 dayInstalled this on a Chevy Tahoe. I had plenty of space to work around, but overall the unit itself was not difficult to install. Instructions are well written. There is ample wiring even though I needed a little more (only because I chose to mount the unit inside my center console). It performs as should. Its loud. The PA is clear and not distorted. On a Tahoe install: I did not have to drill any holes to mount the speaker (I found existing holes to pass bolts thru near the grill). I also did not have to make holes thru the firewall to pass the wiring. I used extisting holes. Passing the wiring harness thru the firewall was the biggest challenge of the install. I was able to conceal all the wires under the dash and easily zip tie them to other existing wires. The receiver fits perfectly in the center console. I mounted mine on the inside on the drivers side of the console facing up.

> 3 dayI like it and it works well, the only thing I wish it had was a man siren button
