This little gizmo is a great tool. I got really tired and frustrated with using a nail set and a hammer to bang in nails that dont go below the surface of wood moldings ( even with a nail gun). A nail set works, but often slips and makes the resulting hole much bigger and requires filling. This tool fits right over the head of 18 gauge brad nails and bangs them in.....every time. And a bonus. I like to dimple metal that has to be drilled so the bit gets some bite. Id been using decking screws to create the dimple. Oner bang from the other end of this tool and youre good to go. Highly recommend

Ive done carpentry work almost my entire adult life and how Id never seen one of these until a few months ago, I dont know. But as soon as I saw someone use one I bought it. It now has a permanent spot in my tool belt and my regular nailsets havent left my toolbox since.

I actually bought my first one these at a thrift store for $1. The spring was a little weak and bent but it still worked great for years until I lost it. Found myself doing quite a bit of finish work and decided to order another. Super easy to use, can set 18ga brads or 15ga and bigger finish nails. Spring is super strong compared to my first one and should last a long time. Find a good spot in your tool pouch for it, sucks when it goes missing

The spring was bent on arrival so it doesn’t really work as intended.

Our SIL, a professional painter, turned us on to this product. My husband was impressed with the quality and the ease of use. He is a mechanic by trade, and tools are a big part of what makes his life easy and happy.

This thing works awesome but it does not last long at all.I paint homes and after a month of using it to set a couple nail heads the point chipped off.I wouldnt recommend this product unless the company warranty it longer and stood by the warranty

I have oak hardwood floors throughout my home, and from time to time I have nail pops where a nail starts sticking-up. Very annoying. In the past Ive gone out to the garage to get a nailset and a hammer. Now I have this, I keep it in a drawer in the kitchen and grab it. Super fast, no hammer needed and in 10-seconds the nail-pop is fixed. (now if I could only figure out how to stop nail-pops in the first place...)

I’m a firefighter and used them twice. The first time I had no issues but I noticed afterwards the spring was slack, thus rendering it pretty much useless. The second time it took forever to get the window to break. I guess I was hoping it would be more resilient.

Greatest invention since the airless sprayer for a painter. Sinking in nails on trim is so easy with this tool. Its easier to use then a hammer and pin, and easier to carry! Glad I bought multiple.
