Definitely a great choice giving lost of versatility. I have spaces the racks at 22 in without offset and it fitted perfectly. The only idea I have for improvement is to include a paper template so it will be an even easier installation.

I bought a Fat rack and a Classic rack through Amazon Warehouse. One of the racks shipped without the mounting hardware but I had similar bolts on hand and used those. I contacted the manufacturer via their website and they said they would ship out the hardware to me asap. These racks are fantastic. Loading the bikes into the racks is so easy, and it keeps the bikes out of the way. The Classic rack states it fits bikes with tires up to 2.4 width - thats just not possible. I have a mountain bike with 2.4 tires and I had to force it to fit even without the tires being properly inflated. The manufacturer should adjust this guidance. I had anticipated the mountain bike might not fit and ordered anyway since I have a road bike that fits the Classic rack easily. I mounted the racks into studs and found the process fairly easy although I did watch a few YouTube videos first. I will definitely be buying a MTB version for my other bike, these racks are so handy.

I was hesitant at first by the price because I needed 2. But after the easy install and ease of use, I couldn’t be more than happy to recommend this to everyone that wants a vertical rack that also saves space. Just do it, pull the trigger and buy this rack, you won’t regret it.

My kids put their bikes away into this bike rack which means its a success! Ive tried EVERY bike rack solution that exists...hooks on the front tire, hooks on the frame, suspended from the ceiling, floor racks, etc. The kids never put them away because they said it was too hard...or they took up too much space...floor racks. They put them away into the SteadyRack. I also love them because I can install them very close to one another reducing the amount of overall space needed for bike storage. TIP: google steadyrack spacing guide and do the staggered installation...instructions say about 13 1/2, I moved them even closer at 12 and it works. We just sold our house and the buyer requested we leave the racks. I immediately bought and installed 5 more racks for our new home.

Really easy to install and they are very sturdy. My electric fat-tire bikes are 70+lbs each and they are supported very well. Some people are complaining about the fenders getting in the way, but for me that wasn’t an issue. The metal support of the rack went right between the fender and tire and fit perfectly. Love the pivot feature which allows you to basically fold the bikes in against the wall so they don’t protrude out as far. The only complaint is the price, but you get what you pay for.

An amazing product. The way the bike snugs against the wall, it utilizes the space extremely efficient. In the past, which ever way I stored the bicycle (plainly leaning it against the wall) it always seemed to take so much garage space. Now, I cant believe how little space it uses - where one bicycle fit in previously I can now fit two of them and to top it all the area visually seems pleasantly uncluttered. Removing / storing the bike is a snap too as opposed to my initial idea / concept of ceiling suspension which would have involved a winching system of some sort (read - additional clutter). Owing one only bicycle at the moment (I always felt there is not enough space in my garage for two so I always procrastinated the purchase of a second one), I actually bought two of these brackets with the peace of mind that I can now purchase the second bicycle (for my wife) and have ample storage space for it. Edited for clarity and mistakes.

Yes, its expensive but if you want something that works great, is durable, and keeps your bikes out of the way, this is it! Perhaps you get what you pay for is an appropriate thought here.

easy ti install and saves me space. I swing the rack to the side and I wish that there was a way to lock it in the position I needed it to stay in.

This rack is amazing and I am glad I purchased it. It is very sturdy and comes with very large bolts, which means it takes a bit of time to mount but once it is up it isnt coming down. Allows me room in my garage to mount the bike and then swing it to the side to get it out of the way. Very cool feature. My one minor negative, the bracket that holds the rear tire from rubbing the wall has tall sides, so when I pivot the bike to the side my deep rim wheels/tire dont sit inside the bracket anymore and end up resting on the top edges. It still keeps the wheel from rubbing the wall, but would like to see a bracket that is not so tall on the sides so the wheel/rim can pivot a little better and stay within the side walls. Highly recommend however!

The racks seem to work well and are secure into the wall. Quality: my only main issue is that the plastic caps covering the bolts area on the top and bottom are very cheap and don’t come off or attack easily. Otherwise the rack is fairly solid. Install: The one issue I had was that the bolts did not fit the 1/2 inch socket bit. In fact, they were between sizes, which is fine if you just use a large socket to drive them into the wall. Not so fine if you want to take them out without having to use a wrench. The bolts got a bit stripped in the process. I didn’t predrill my holes into the studs, because I was able to just hand drill the bolts in a quarter inch and then drill them the rest of the way. Always predrill a smaller hole than the instructions FYI.
