Step2 Neighborhood Wagon with Seats, Red

Darlene O.
> 3 dayBirthday gift for my 3 year old granddaughter. Im usually capable of putting things together, but this was not one of them. I asked my neighbor and it took 3 of them to put it together. Instructions in all languages were listed together, not by indivdual pages. BTW.. My neighbors have put together and taken apart race cars. The difficulty could have been the size and awkwardness of the wagon itself. When I pulled the wagon across the street, my 3 year old granddaughter was jumping up and down, squealing and clapping. Neighbors saw this and said Seeing her that happy was worth it. She treats it like her first car. Cannot pull through any mud! The 2 seater gives her plenty of room for her, her stuffed animals and baby dolls!!

> 3 dayThis wagon is perfect! It is sturdy and a great size! I bought it to use at the clinic I work at for the kiddos. They love it! It can fit two average 5-6 year olds just fine. The handle is sturdy as well.

> 3 dayThe product came in a huge box and could probably have been assembled except for the handle which was the easiest part to assemble. There are no instructions, only pictures. Attaching the hammer on lug nut was very difficult. It doesnt sit on the metal rods. Its kind of tipsy, so you have to hold it and try not to hit your fingers as you hammer it on. Or try using a needle nosed pliers to hold it while you try to squeeze a hammer over it in the wheel wells. After I got on two wheels, I had to use part I (no parts are identified by name only by picture) as a holder for the hammer on lug nut and pound on the rod for the third wheel. It worked great, except the black hub cap over the hammer on lug nut stuck in the holder. Then the metal rod was slightly smashed from the hammering and it was very difficult to get on the last nut. It appears to be very stable, turns very easily and is very durable plastic. Assembly is not easy. The instructions on line are the same as in the packaging....pictures only.

> 3 dayI bought 2 of these for christmas for the grandkids age 2. They were easy to put together and are very sturdy. The kids love them and want to be pulled around even if its just in the house

> 3 dayThis is the 3rd wagon I bought. And, Ive been pleased with all but this one. It will work and we are keeping it but, the other two have a door for the child to open and close to get in and out instead of climbing over the top. I didnt pay close enough attention to this one. So, please note: It does not have a door. Again, I am keeping it but was disappointed about the door and want everyone else to know before buying. Other than that, the wagon is good and enjoyable by my grandchild.

> 3 dayThis is my third Step 2 product and all of them so far have been well-designed and fun for our daughter. This is no exception. I was pleasantly surprised how deep and long the wagon was. Now my daughter is just 22 months and on the small side. But her and a 3 year old friend both get in and have plenty of room. I also like that there are safety waist straps on both sides. Assembly is pretty straight forward but we did run into a couple of problems. Throughout the assembly you are asked to use a hammer to get end pieces on. While doing this the metal flattened out and expanded on the rear axle making it impossible to put on. We considered calling Step 2 and I am sure they would have been great. But instead we bought a $7 metal file from Wal-Mart and filed the end down. It then worked ok. BUT be sure to use the provided brace on the opposite end so the axel is pushed up as far as possible when putting on the second rear wheel. Once assembled very pleased with the operation. It is easy to both push and pull and the wheels are very smooth. One design flaw though. The side for drinks is very roomy. All of our sippy cups fit with ease. The other side is supposed to be for chip bags or books. It is much too shallow. Bizarre oversight. It is basically useless. In the end we decided on this over the cozy coupe for added verticality and we are not disappointed. You might not have any assembly problems and the assembly is not hard. We found a workaround fairly easily for our problem. Aside from the way too shallow chip holder all other aspects of the wagon are well-designed. I also like the color, a true fire engine red. I dont think you would go wrong with any of the other Step 2 wagons either. Recommended.

Greater than one weekmy mom purchased this red wagon for Christmas for my 18 mth old son and he loves it. Better than a stroller if you are just going for a ride around the neighborhood or the park, he can see all of natures beauty and he is comfortable and happy. My husband put it together, it wasnt too difficult. Overall, I am very satisfied with this product.
