Stiletto Pocket Light

> 24 hourThis light would be awesome if only it didn’t turn itself on so easily. It turns on my pocket without being asked to And I’ve also found it on in my backpack. It does get a little warm too. Other than that the fit and finish is excellent. It’s a convenient size and feels good in the hand. It’s plenty bright but not astonishingly so but it casts the word useful been. If it just didn’t turn on inadvertently so easily this would usually be a five star plus plus.

> 24 hourThis has a solid place in my EDC (everyday carry). I love this flashlight. No batteries to worry about. The built in lipo has great life. I use my light a lot. Not for long periods of time usually but for inspections, looking under the fridge for a lego, checking for burr during sharpening, etc... I hunted for a light with a good pocket clip for months. These typical bulky, round lights that hold an 18650 batteries or AAA have garbage pocket clips. The round shape to them is very unnatural and uncomfortable in the pocket. This seems nit picky when you haven’t carried the Stiletto. I had grown comfortable to these bulky, round lights because I hadn’t had anything else. After I broke another Nitecore, I had to hunt down a USA manufactured flashlight that changed the game for me. I didn’t want the same name everyone has but this is their house. Surefire just makes good stuff. It’s a name I was made familiar with during my time in the military. Literally, everyone in the military carries or has carried Surefire something. The idea of having something made in the USA with a massive manufacturing backing from a company that stands behind its military and law enforcement personnel brings a lot of pride and faith in the product. The form factor of this light is remarkable. It fits my pocket almost as good as it fits my hand. It’s extremely ergonomic in both. The pocket clip is tough as nails. I prefer a very tight pocket clip so I removed the clip, bent it a little more and reinstalled it for that super tight clip. I’ve been carrying this light EVERY SINGLE DAY. It’s fallen 2 stories now twice, been run over once and keeps coming back for more. I’ve only charged it twice since I bought it, amazingly. I don’t always use the max output though. When I do, it’s by the “tailcap”. Temporary light for a quick scan. Strobe to disorient the kids long enough for me to grab the last piece of pizza and get out of there! But low is my most used setting. Something that doesn’t blind you, doesn’t create a bright reflection. The user interface is so simple. Off the tail, it’s all temporary. Apply pressure, light turns on. Remove pressure, light turns off. It’s max lumens. Three quick taps and you go into strobe. Same technique as before. On the main panel, usb charging plug at the bottom with a waterproof rubber gasket. Above those, to the left is your mode button and to the right is the light activation. The body is a tough plastic of some sort and an aluminum head. After a few minutes on high, the aluminum can get very hot but they’ve put that warning on there so you don’t forget. It’s got decent throw and a wide, hard wall like we’re used to with Surefire lights. My only gripe is every once in awhile I’ll find the light is on in my pocket. But with its battery life, it doesn’t concern me. It uses the same micro USB that all of you android users are used to. I love this light. It’s a gem. If I manage to break it one day, at $100 I’ll buy two to replace it.

> 24 hourBattery lasts a long time. Has a light the goes from green to yellow/red as battery goes down Can clip on hat brim for hands free. The button on back of light requires you to hold the thin edge vs the wide, so thumb can depress button. Feels fine in hand, but didnt think about it until i needed it and i had to adjust my grip. Thesr fit in pocket much better then my other surefire.

> 24 hourGotta know what you are getting here, this is an excellent EDC light. Super light weight. I like the dual switches. The tac switch on the back is good for self defense and the button on the body is great for everyday tasks. Has become my go to light.

> 24 hourWorks great. Very durable. Bright light. A bit on the pricy side. Would probably be better priced at $75......

> 24 hourThis is my favorite flashlight in my collection for sure well worth the price. Battery life seems to be just fine. Doesnt get insanely hot like it going to malfunction or something like a lot of reviews discuss what is happening is it made of a soft metal on top almost plastic like material and it feels hot to the touch, however this was me purposely trying to let it get hot to test it. I have yet to see it turn on automatically it has been doing exactly what it has been intended to do and nicely at that.

> 24 hourLet me start off by saying that Im a huge Surefire fan and I own many of their fine lights. That being said, save your money when it comes to this light. What seems like a good concept doesnt work in practice. The clip isnt practical and neither is the shape. A regular light takes up less room in the pocket. Due to its shape it is extremely difficult to get a good ice pick grip on the light to activate the tail cap button. And the biggest flaw of all, the darn thing activates in my pants accidentally time and again. The only thing I liked about this light is the easy USB charging and battery run time. After using this light as my EDC for several weeks, I will relegate it to use as a spare and go back to a conventional Surefire light.

> 24 hourI’ve owned lots of everyday carry flashlights over the last 30 years. Most were adequate but went through batteries quickly enough that I couldn’t count on them. This light is rechargeable and I’ve seen it hold a charge for 3 weeks with moderate daily use. It’s slim and fits nicely in my pocket. The three brightness settings are perfect for all uses. The end cap button makes quick use a breeze. I couldn’t recommend it more.

> 24 hourThe Surefire Stiletto puts out some serious brightness. From my deck overlooking a thick forest, I can see objects out to about 100 yards and I have seen animal eyes reflected back at about 200 yards. It is easy to carry with the side clip, but dont accidentally turn it on while it is in your pocket; it generates a lot of heat at the lens.
