Stim-U-Dent Original, The Un-Plastic Plaque Removers, Mint-Flavored, 200 Count Box (Pack of 6)

My dentist is not a fan of them but agrees that I’m doing a good job keeping the plaque off my teeth? I’m my non-professional opinion, the coarse nature of the wood actually scrapes the food stuff off the tooth while the smooth plastic just slides right over it. And similarly, the wood sticks beat back that gum line, which I understand could be a problem for folks ‘of a certain age’ if left unchecked. Great product. I hope they are around long after I’m gone!

Ok, I cant believe Im writing a review for *toothpicks* but I keep a pack of Stimdents in my pocket and have for close to 20 years. I think these are a great way to floss on the go and are just a fun thing to use if you like nervously chewing on something. Ive always bought the green ones and they are fine but in recent years the wood has changed to a lighter, more splintery version and there is less of a mint flavor. I tried these thinner blue ones and they are much nicer. They seem at least as sturdy but can get into tighter spots. I also prefer the flavor, tho its still pretty subtle. When my pack ran out, I switched back to the green ones I has lying around and it felt like a big downgrade so if youre debating, these things are great.

I use the regular size picks daily. Saw these and thought to try them. They are pretty worthless for cleaning since any slight pressure will snap them in half. Now I need a craft project to use all these sticks for something!

Have used these thin picks for years. The thin picks work better for me than the regular picks.

We use these thin Stim-U-Dents constantly. They are much better and easier to use than ordinary toothpicks.

I use it all the time

I got the Mint ones. They work well. I have small spaces between some of my teeth, and these help clean those areas and stimulate the gums, nicely. They are pretty sturdy as long as they are worked properly. No need to push them into the teeth; gently probing while removing plaque, works best. After years of being without Johnson & Johnson Stim-u-Dents, Im happy to find an able replacement. Its bad news for my dentist, though, because I have healthier teeth when I have these little wood picks.
