We use these to make our own greeting cards. We take a photo we like and glue it on the front of the card. That way we make our own individualistic cards.

Very nice paper and envelopes! Its 140 lb. cold pressed paper, and perfect for watercolors. I dont get saturatedly wet, in my work, but do wash out an entire background, for which these cards held up well. Highly recommend!

. I have painted on more than 200 Strathmore watercolor cards. The cards now are of inferior quality. They do not hold water and they buckle. Paint looks completely flat. I have reached out to Strathmore with no reply. Unfortunately, I don’t have a better card to recommend. I have to cut my own now from better paper. Read some reviews. If the artist used Strathmore cards in the past, they likely note that the quality is different and worseY

Ive used these watercolor cards for years, but the quality of the current paper is not the same. One side of the card has a cold press waffle texture which is really not desirable in watercolor paper.

Just the thing for watercolors and acrylic paints/acrylic gouache. Also did mixed media collages and the paper held up well. Wouldnt reccomend using modge podge on these bc it tends to curl the paper. For acrylic, collages, and colored pencil, I sealed my designs with acrylic medium and a gloss varnish and the paper was fine- didnt buckle. The paper was fine for watercolor paintings. I also used colored pencils with that and it looked great. Easy to use. Probably cheaper to cut your own postcards, but these are very convenient to use!

Easy to use, nice mailing size, thick paper that holds up to getting very wet with paints. I have mailed many of these postcards out to friends around the world. They look good and the colors are well-represented.

These were perfect for water-coloring handmade cards for my Etsy shop. I used both watercolors and black pen on them and they worked great. The cards are made of high quality thick water color paper and they have a pre-folded middle for an easy fold. Great price. Only complaint is that the envelopes arent very thick and are see through. To me, this wasnt a big deal because the cards were so high quality. I definitely will be purchasing them again for my shop.

The cards and envelopes are cute, but its not the best watercolor paper. The absorbance is okay, though not fantastic if you want very watered down colours. The paper warped quite significantly after watercolor painting, and so the cards cetainly dont look professional.

I love these cards. I just bought a second set. I use them mainly for watercolor, but have used color pencils (prismacolor and raffine), neocolors, derwent inktense and mixed media on them. They are also great for zentangle. The set I have is white and the envelopes are a shade whiter. Rarely when you buy a store bought greeting card does the envelope and card match exactly. The envelopes in the set I bought have a straight edge. The cards themselves have a texture and arrive flat with a crease down the center, making it suitable for either a landscape or portrait card. My printer does not accept this heavy of paper. My husband took the box to Fed-Ex this past fall and they said their copy machines would not take it either. I am not sure if this is 100% accurate as someone said that if you do it yourself the copy machines will accept it.

Not bad quality for the price. Doesnt hold water to well, buckles quite a bit. It holds pigment decently on the rough side. Not too bad for a quick sketch, watercolor impressions, and sending it off. Good for a hobby, not professional quality.
