Great purchase and the value is huge! (Price per card) They’re exactly what you expect (sturdy and can handle watercolors marvelously). These don’t pill up while painting which is a huge improvement over other brands I’ve tried. 100% recommendations across the board!

Strathmore unquestionably makes great products. One is this watercolor postcards. I like the fact that it is just small. Painting on it is easy because of the texture and thickness of the paper. The size is just right. You would not get tired from painting on that small paper. The paper easily comes right off the binding. You would not have to worry about tearing it off. It may be a little pricey for a pad of 15 but for me it is still worth it. You get to design and personalize your own postcard for you to send out to family and friends. I would recommend this product especially if you plan to share your paintings to everyone.

Im really loving these for handmade watercolor cards. There are so many and sharpie doesnt bleed through either. if I use too much water for the watercolor or do a flood style it does warp that card a little but Im totally ok with that makes it more homemade ;). It does help to have a tape border around the edges.

I have used these cards for a number of classes over the years and find they are excellent for students to create holiday cards with either acrylics or watercolors. Was disappointed not to be able to find them in white, which is better for watercolor, so took a chance on these. They are listed as ivory, which can mean almost anything. They are indeed a cream color, or ecru. The paper itself is a nice quality, but feels a little lighter than 90 lbs, perhaps 78 or 80. The envelopes are about half that weight. Yes, they are quite a bit thinner, but at least they are exactly the same color and same finish as the cards. The cards are scored so fold easily and the price is excellent. All in all, a good choice.

The Strathmore Greeting cards are the perfect watercolor card for me to paint my cards for my online shop! They hold up well, very sturdy, and they’re easy to paint on.

Ive used these watercolor cards for years, but the quality of the current paper is not the same. One side of the card has a cold press waffle texture which is really not desirable in watercolor paper.
