> 24 hourHey there gang, I draw on this paper instead of making prints. I use Rives BFK if Im going to make prints. That said, this stuff is pretty damn good, takes a variety of media well (ink, pen, pencil, conte crayon, gouache). Only issue is using an eraser causes tearing on the paper and then you realize the core of the product is not good. Look, for what it costs this is a great product and the 8x10 size awesome because I dont have to tear down other paper to draw on.

> 24 hourI have been playing with different kinds of paper for use with india ink and light watercolor sketching. It absorbs your pigment very fast and you cant really work it over too much like you might be able to with watercolor paper. Probably makes it good for printing though. The thing that this paper has which makes it all worth the extra planning in watercolor is the gorgeous texture. It gives the work just a slight aged look. Everything looks like a crisp old print (obviously). The transparent colors are made extra luminous by the little bit of texture. It dries well and doesnt buckle too much. I find it really rewarding to use. As for how it works for press printing? I dont know but I suspect it would work. It grabs ink and keeps crisp edges
