Purchased this flashlight to keep in my truck tool kit for emergencies. I quickly found myself stealing it from the truck to use around the house. Its just phenomenal. Having the option of forward facing and downward facing light beams is so convenient, youll wonder why all flashlights dont have it. Battery life has proven to be excellent. Durability is top notch... Ive dropped it about 8 feet from ladders, dunked it in a bucket of water, and kicked it through the mud (all unintentional). The thing still works. The clip is super nice to keep it secured in a pocket or tool belt. Ill be purchasing several more to scatter throughout the house and put in the other vehicles. The flashlight isnt small, so dont think this is going to replace your EDC light. But its replaced every other flashlight I have.

I bought a rechargable flashlight and it worked great but the input on the flashlight for the charging cord was easily bent after a few months of use and then I could no longer charge it. So, back to regular flashlights. I did research and decided on the Streamlight 68750. It works very well. I like the yellow color and the flood light feature. Its not extremely bright but its bright enough for my usage. So far, so good, and the batteries do not seem to be running down very quickly. I am satisfied with my purchase.

I was in the market for a simple and reliable general purpose flashlight. One with a straightforward on and off switch (not one with a half dozen modes), and one that is tough and water proof. This light more than fits the bill. It’s really two flashlights in one. The spot beam allows for momentary on, with a light press of the switch, or constant on, with a firm click of the switch. The flood beam is click on only, and is perfect for working up close, when you want wide and even coverage. With the reputation of Streamlight, toughness and reliability is a given. The flashlight is mostly sleek, and as advertised, the clip doesn’t snag. I say “mostly” sleek, because the eyelet/lug at the lens cap (which is designed as part of the locking mechanism for a different model) could potentially snag. I wish they would have eliminated it on this model since it serves no purpose. The flashlight is comfortable to hold, easy to operate (no multi modes), light weight, and at 7 inches long it’s small enough to easily fit in a glovebox, drawer, or coat pocket. The spot beam is sufficient for most general purpose uses. I was under the house the other day and the spot beam provided practical useable light out to about 25 feet (probably a bit beyond, but that’s the length of the space I was working in), the flood beam offer significantly less useful distance (maybe 8 ft). I was so impressed with the first flashlight, that I ordered five more. Ive replaced all the flashlights in my house and vehicles. I then ordered two additional flashlights to give as gifts. And, will likely order more for gifts in the future. There are cheaper flashlights on the market, but I’m a firm believer in, You get what you pay for. When the time comes that I need a flashlight, I want to know I have a flashlight that will work. And, with Energizer AA Lithium Batteries (which I purchased separately on Amazon), this flashlight is going to be ready and reliable even if it sits idle for 19 years (the lithium batteries boast a 20 year shelf life). Update Aug 2022: Im still very happy with these lights! Combined with the lithiums Ive not had to replace any of the batteries. I use them every so often, as one might expect. Ive referred these lights to several friends who have then purchased one or two. Hey, Streamlight - do you need an ambassador? Ill be happy to entertain an offer.

    Greater than one week

The fact that unit uses AA batteries rather than cr123 is a plus in my book. Second, it has both led and regular bulb. I often find led is bright but washed things out. Third, you can have both on and see forward and down where your walking at the same time. Fourth, has a belt clip. Fifth, great price. None of my other lights offer so much at 2x the price.

Was looking for a bright enough light to make my presence known when walking dogs at night on an unlit county road but not so bright as to shorten battery life. Found this light by searching internet and its great. The belt clip feature allows me to clip it on my jacket or shirt pocket in a vertical orientation and the lower intensity light shines the way forward. Its bright enough that oncoming cars can see it from 50yds but not a blinding narrow beam. This lower intensity beam is also ideal for working under the car or motorcycle because the flashlight can lay flat on the ground with the low intensity light facing upward so I dont have to use one hand to hold a traditional flashlight. The higher intensity beam is very bright and more tightly focused and is used most often for finding the path to the trail head if I stay on the mountain too late or for finding and scaring off whatever kind of night prowling critter is disturbing the dog at night. Excellent hand held light at a reasonable price.

Batteries seem to last long (just recently bought it so I am not sure about that question). I havent had it near water so I cant answer the water resistance query above. Suffice to say, I bought two of these and love them. Might get a 3rd so I dont have to search for a flashlight when I go down cellar!

Great flashlight. I use it daily as an aircraft mechanic and it fits my needs perfectly. Very bright, useable light. The beam broadcasts more than enough to do walk around inspections in the dark, i can clearly see sections 40 feet above me in tbe dark (tail sections) Chemical resistance is very good too, as we deal with some nasty stuff thatll eat anything. Ive beat it up and dropped it a bunch with no issues. The clip is very handy to clip onto your shirt while using the flood beam located underneath, clip nicely strong too. This flashlight is surprisingly good on battery life for how bright it is. Overall Im very pleased with it, and will be ordering 2 more my garage and truck. I do own lots of flashlights including the streamlight stinger led etc, while those are great flashlights I find that its a bit heavier than I like to be in my pocket, and the beam can be very harsh when being used up close, this one is light enough to clip on my pocket and forget its there also AA batteries are just convenient. This all, accompanied by a great price point (a downright steal for the quality and features to me) has made it my go-to flashlight and my favorite of the bunch. If youve got work to do, you can trust this one by your side.

An interesting design. In addition to the standard front-facing light, this flashlight also includes a side-facing/downward-facing light. Both are controlled by separate switches. Advertised as being 140 lumens for each light, and that seems to be right on. Both lights provide a nice white light. The main (front) beam is more a spotlight beam, which gives a pretty good reach. The side beam is more a wide floodlight beam. I bought this to replace an older flashlight in my glove compartment that finally died. The side beam is excellent for just laying on the ground or somewhere in the engine compartment, allowing light everywhere. The yellow color makes it easy to find if dropped. The clip on the end will catch on your pocket when you try to take it out, but thats good as it will be less likely to drop while moving around. This version DOES NOT have the magnetic end cap. Takes 3 AAA batteries in the standard weird arrangement, but the batteries slip out and back in easily. Spec sheet says waterproof to 1 meter for 30 minutes, but Ive only tested it for a quick dunk. I have a medium-sized hand and this light fits nicely in it. Overall, a really nice light for the car or camping.

I wanted a good water proof flashlight that uses common batteries & just turns on and off. No cycling through useless strobe and power settings. I didnt want a tactical machined aircraft aluminum survival fantasy light that I could show off to my friends and make myself feel more like a man. Im happy with my choice. This is simple powerful light from a reputable manufacturer.
