We use the single switch flavor of this flash light where I work, so I had a pretty decent idea of what I was going to get in the mail, However I was still blown away. This flash light is a lot brighter then the ones that have at work. And the double switch is awesome, I could not image having to use one with a single switch. I am issued the same flashlight for my job as a Probation Officer, and I just had to go buy me one for personal use to leave in my truck. Long battery life (with occasional use the battery will last over a month without charging). great design, small and light, yet strong and durable. dropped it on asphalt and only left a little nick in the coating. I would recommend this light to anybody looking for a great rechargeable flashlight.

I work as an Inspector with the USDA and I was extremely pleased when I first purchased my Stinger DS C4 back in May of 2009. I use my light to inspect facilities, equipment, and product throughout the course of the day and it made my job a lot easier. The Establishments that I work in were all so impressed with the light they went out and purchased the same lights for their staff. The light is super bright(I believe its rated at 180 lumens), it has a really tight beam, a decent battery life for an LED light, and its rechargeable so you dont have to mess around with buying or changing batteries out all the time. However, over the past year I have purchased two of these lights. My first C4 took a dump in January 2010. Both of the switches quit working at the same time and the only way I could shut it off was to pull the battery out--of course doing this too many times just lead to me cross-threading the cap. I immediately bought another one and less than two weeks after purchasing the second light its switches quit working too! Ive talked with streamlights customer service and have sent my lights in for repair at no cost(other than having to pay for the shipping). This is a nice flashlight very bright , rugged great battery life is great I use it when taking my dogs outside at night. This is my second flashlight my daughter (a police officer) gave me my first one I liked it so much I purchased a second one for upstairs and one down

This is a very solid and dependable light. It is the brightest practical light that I own and works great for a duty rig. It holds a good spot over a great distance. The switches have an incredibly useful momentary on function if you dont push the button down all the way. You can easily tell the difference between this and cheaper lights. I have yet to find someone with a light rated at hundreds of lumens that I cant drown out with my beam. I am very happy with this light and I cant express to you how happy I am about never having to worry about batteries again. I have had this light for over a year now and it still works like it was new.

I received my Streamlight Stinger from Amazon quickly and in good condition. I charged the light on the AC charger and headed to the woods for opening day of deer season. The Stinger was terrific, packing a huge whallop as it lit the woods like a Q-beam. The chargers are no afterthought and are very well constructed and durable. Expensive flashlight, but will always work and last forever.
