Streamlight 88065 ProTac HL-X 1000-Lumen Multi-Fuel Professional Tactical Flashlight, Includes CR123A Lithium Batteries and Holster, Box, Black

This light is very tough and extremely bright. I would recommend this light. The option to run 2 CR123 or 1 18650 is really a great feature. The only complaint I have about the light is it will only accept Button Top 18650 batteries. I actually took the light apart and soldered a gold plated spring I bought from an electronics website to the driver/bulb housing. It now accepts Flat Top 18650 batteries that are more common and you can still use a button top 18650

My wife bought me this flashlight for christmas and its so amazing I am buying 3 more. One for each one of our vehicles and one for the house. Best light I have ever seen for the $$ However the battery life is minimal and after only one serious use at night or a few short uses on a camping trip this battery dies and it dies quick without warning....

I read a review where they compare this 1000 Lumen product with a 600 Lumen product and they looked the same. I think he was using the same 600 Lumen flashlight in both pictures. I tested this flashlight in an open field about the size of a football field and it turned night into day. I am very happy with the performance of this flashlight. I was worried after I bought this flashlight because I read some of the bad reviews after buying. I can say with confidence that I am very happy with this flashlight so far. Five stars.

Good light with adjustable settings. Very bright. I ordered the rechargeable batteries and charger the next week, but so far have only used the CR123 batteries.

It worked great for a while, then the programming stopped working. I changed the batteries and that seemed to fix it so I didn’t return it. Again, after working fine for a while it sometimes won’t stay on. It’ll come on for 10-15 seconds at a time and then go off. It’s been intermittently reliable at best and pretty disappointing for a light in this price range.

Really bright light. Stars were reduced due to the flashlight coming with a really really cheap holster and not a box as was lead to believe thru the amazon site. 2) the fact no charging cable comes with it is weird and inconvenient. Still trying to contact the seller

The only bad thing was the pocket clip was a bit difficult to remove. Other than that it’s perfect.

I used the flashlight for work and it has been perfect. Size is great, battery life is great, and strength of the light is eveything I expected. No complaints from me.

Very solid and well made. This is not an led bulb so it gets very hot. Hence the 4 stars. Which is probably the main reason why is is/was very disconnected. Its like a mini mag light.
