I am a new user of embroidery machines. This stabilizer is the best made for the top of embroidering. I cut the holder at the bottom of the container, and place it near the front of the drawer. I then drape the stabilizer over the side of a drawer and it is there at your connivance to just pull and snip just the size that you want. It is reasonable and fast fast service so when you are low you will be surprised of the speedy delivery. Cost is great also.

I love this for topping my embroidery projects. Works really well to keep stitches from sinking into napped or fleece fabrics.

Item arrived on time and was as described. Just what I needed to get my embroidery to turn out beautiful.

I used this all the time. Whether I am using this on a fabric that has a heavy nap, and need a double layer, or I am using it alone and still use two layers for making my own patch for a decoration alone as itself. It is easy. This was a good price in itself. I have priced it in stores and have not found it cheaper. I go through this stabilizer like it is water. I really think that anyone who is just beginning to learn to embroider, there should be a beginner package of stabilizers with a video of how to use these together with the fabrics and the proper threads out there so that they can know what to use and understand their machines. Then they will not get caught up like I did in the beginning. This would be a great part of a beginners kit for sure or even part of a wonderful sewing kit for that special someone out there that sews all the time. I know I would love it....

I ordered this to use to help stabilize minky fabric appliqués for cutting and sewing. When I received it, it wasnt exactly what I was hoping for, but I figured out a way to make it work really well for my needs. I jus cut out a piece of minky that will fit my appliqué shape and cut a piece of solvy in the same size. I then soak the minky with a spray bottle of water and put the solve on top. The solve melts into the fabric and once it dries, it is nice and stiff for cutting and sewing my appliqués. Once I get everything together, I just throw the completed item in the wash and it come out perfect every time.

Although not typically used in jersey making, I use this product at hems. It really cuts down on how much the double needle draws the fabric into a ridge. And best of all it washes away when finished.

I have used this for a long time, and I would never use any other brand.

I had never heard of this product until it was demonstrated in a sewing class I had taken. In the midst of serging a soft-slinky fabric for an infinity scarf I ran into quite a few problems with frayed ends and remembered this product. It is lightweight, and was easy to lay over my seam as I serged a rolled hem vs. using a pre-cut and slippery seam tape or coming up with another method.I simply pulled off the excess after I finished my seam, as it was perforated by the needle. For me it worked well (though I also learned that using a wooly nylon tread along with this stabilizer on my specific fabric would have increased the overall affect).

We needed water-soluble material to hold my Mama Ritas ashes before throwing them into the ocean. We made seven bags for seven scattering tubes. This allowed us to pitch an entire tube (also water soluble/biodegradable) or just throw the bag. This worked GREAT!

The sulky stabilizer came in a roll with instructions. I used it to make some altered fabric pieces, and they turned out well. It was a little tricky to sew over it, but once I got the hang of it, it went ok. It dissolves pretty well, with some coaxing. It will only work on washable fabric, so I cannot use it with everything such as items with paper pieces. Used in the right applications, its a very good product.
