Super Softstrand, Vinyl-Coated Stranded Stainless Steel Picture Wrapping Wire, Size #5, 43 lb / 20 kg, 80 ft / 24 m

I did try #4 but for my purposes I found it would be too light BUT my review applies to both #4 and #5 (just different weight bearing). Have tried several hanging wires and honestly nothing touches the quality of Softstrand with vinyl casing. These wires are flexible and easy to wrap by hand (protective vinyl casing makes a huge difference) and extremely durable. A final pinch with the pliers to close off the end and voila! My paintings and framed photos say thank you as I have no concerns about the wire being too weak, fraying, snapping. Customer service is oustanding. Highly recommend - and remember this wire is worth the slightly longer delivery time.

I just love this product. I had a number of paintings and mirrors that needed re-wired and this product has been perfect, so easy to work with and it totally lives up to its name of soft strand. Very easy on the hands when wiring or carrying finished items to hang.

Couldnt be happier!

It was my first time purchasing and using this type of picture wire. It was expected and worked well. Most of all, I appreciated not getting any of those painful finger pokes by the end of the wire.

This worked well hanging a bathroom vanity mirror approx 3x2 & 7lbs. It was really really easy to use (had to YouTube instructions on how to use said wire) and I now have far more leftover wire than any average DIYer will ever need.

This is what works for me, it doesnt prick my fingers. Im glad it came in a smaller role than most Ive seen.

This is a lot easier to work with an tighten up than uncoated woven picture wire. This is the same stuff the Hobby Lobby picture framing people use. Recommended!
