This lasted one day. My parrot tore off the lightweight yarn holding it together and she had it shredded within an hour. The yarn isn’t heavy enough. I took some garden jute and wrapped it up again so at least it will last a bit longer. Her other one she had that was heavy cotton yarn lasted almost a year. Won’t be buying again.

My birds like to shred fabric so these work well. Lovebirds and cockatiel. They are very soft and long.

He enjoyed it but destroyed it so fast.

Never, ever give your bird any toy with anything made from rope, twine or fabric! Your bird can ingest the fibers and choke to death or impact his crop. These are so dangerous. Do your research. There are lots of articles about this.

When I first put this in our parakeet s cage he was afraid of it. It is pretty big; about 8 inches long bigger than he is. I left him alone, and in a little while he was tentatively picking at it, now hes been chewing on it regularly (like now). He really likes it and it should last a long time. Great purchase!
