Our Mealy Amazon loves this product! He preens it and snuggles up to it to sleep. It is very sturdy and will last forever! It can also be hand washed and still goes strong!

Great toy for my cockatiel, bright, sturdy, well-made. The only problem is his constant screaming at it! In order to save our sanity, we now have designated play time with this particular toy. It is very cute when he plays with it, though. Did I mention the screaming? LOL Be forewarned, your bird will like it too much!

Both my babies love this! Not sure if you can tell from the pic, but they take turns “preening” the soft ropes and pass them back and forth to each other, it’s so cute :) Also, I’ve noticed any time one of them gets stressed for any reason, they run right over to this and preen away. I agree with the other reviewer who stated every bird should have one!

When I first put this in our parakeet s cage he was afraid of it. It is pretty big; about 8 inches long bigger than he is. I left him alone, and in a little while he was tentatively picking at it, now hes been chewing on it regularly (like now). He really likes it and it should last a long time. Great purchase!
