I bought this for my daughter. I also, a while back, I bought her a cordless Dyson vacuum cleaner. Shes a clean freak, and she loves them both. Makes me feel good because shes so picky. Anyway, she told me shes going ahead and buying the washable, reusable pads, so thats a good sign. Btw, she has mostly wood floors, a puppy and plenty of guests, so the floors get dirty. The powered spray feature is definitely a nice touch. Its just hard to know how much liquid youve used or when its almost empty. Kinda makes you buy a refill possibly way before you need it and theyre not cheap. Anyway, despite everything, its a good product and a good buy. If you do buy additional pads, just make sure you get the proper size with the edge to edge Velcro. Amen.

I love this mop , I upgraded from the regular swifter with the changeable mop pads and this thing is awesome, super light weight, easy to assemble and to use and get the job done quickly! Love it

I didnt know the cleaning solution was scented, it smells like Im rubbing perfume on the floor. I wish this just came with an unscented cleaning solution. The mop is pretty good but doesnt seem great for deep cleaning.

Update: After reaching out to the company, P&G has sent me a manufacturer coupon for up to $30 to replace my Swiffer. This is somewhat inconvenient, seeing as how amazon does not take manufacturer coupons, meaning I will have to drive to the store to go buy a new one. However, I am thankful they are making it right, and I am overall pleased with their customer service. I changed my rating from 2 stars to 4 stars, and I think that reflects fairly on the product and company. It worked fine for a while, not great for deep cleaning, but worked fine. I didn’t do anything weird to it. I just put it away one day and the next day I went to use it and nothing happened. I changed the batteries, nothing happened. No sound, nothing. I opened it up to see if the motor was stuck. It’s not, but there was lots of rust already on the inside. I’m really unhappy this thing crapped out for NO reason. I didn’t even use it that much. I’ve reached out to Swiffer for a replacement. If they give me the run around, I might just have to look at another brand.

My whole family loves this product. It’s so easy to use and actually quite fun. Although the pads and refills are expensive, there’s easy ways around that. You can get the cap off of the cleaning solution by letting it sit in hot hot water for about a minute. Once you remove the cap, you can use a nail file or drill of some sort to sand down the ticks in the bottle cap. It will then twist on and off with ease like a normal bottle and you can refill it with whatever cleaning solution you like! No more buying refills. And for the pads, you can use Walmart brand disposable pads, which are cheaper than the Swiffer brand, or reusable ones from amazon. Either way, it’s a great purchase and I’d recommend it to anyone.
