I would love to review this product with nothing but 5 stars... however, only one side of one of my hangers came drilled, and so I cannot even install to my swing set. Since I cannot install the hinges, I cannot tell you if it is as sturdy as it looks and feels. I cannot comment on the ease of installation, because it cannot be done. I might have a friend that can drill a hole in it, but that kind of defeats the purpose of the purchase. Maybe mine is just a fluke, but it seems like it is something that should have been caught in quality control. EDIT: luckily, we have a friend with a drill press and he was able to finish drilling the second hole. We will be installing this later today for my daughters swing set. Will review more if/when it needs. Will up my star rating to 3, because no everyone will have access to a drill press to fix the companies mistake. 2nd edit: I am upping to 4 stars. Mostly because we needed two more sets of hinges for our swing set, and I wanted them to be the same. Also, since I knew I had a friend that could drill the hole if it only came partially drilled I figured I’m not out anything if that was the case. Both sets of hinges came completely drilled, so I suppose the first set was a fluke.

I got these to replace old worn out ones for a swing set

Thought these would work for our kids jungle gym (had predrilled holes ready to go) so we ordered this product based on reviews. The screws are way too short and need nuts to hold a swing going into a jungle gym. Otherwise they just slide right through the hole. A normal jungle gym needs at least a 6” screw with a nut and washer. This is not for that. These screws are half the size. Disappointed but we’ll just buy the screws elsewhere since the quality of the swing anchor is at least good

These are very heavy duty and I cant imagine how much they will support

I couldnt believe how sturdy (and heavy) these were. Im an idiot, so I only ordered 1 pair, when I needed 2. My husband spray painted them black to match the rest of the hardware. They look great, and will definitely hold up against the elements in Northern Indiana.

Used just one to hang a swing from a beam on my front porch. Its quiet and I can tell how sturdy it is. I have no concerns sitting on my swing with my kiddos about weight because I know this can handle it. I will definitely look at this company for play ground needs in the future.
