Synology RAM DDR4-2666 Non-ECC SO-DIMM 4GB (D4NESO-2666-4G)

Came super fast and it s exactly what was in the picture.

The RAM chips that are actually soldered to the board are Samsung. Go with an 8GB stick of Samsung for compatibility and a lower cost. Get the M471A1K43CB1-CTD. Works great on my DS220+ and my DS720+. It tests out with Synology Assistant memory test, plus, theres no errors/nuisance warnings that youre not using a Synology branded stick of memory.

Synology says if you use any memory but theirs your Synology will blow up and no warranty.

I dont do gaming, so I dont have an opinion about that, but this installed easily and my software for my NAS tells me it is performing as advertised. Synology OEM parts are a bit more expensive, but there dont seem to be any issues with them, whereas some other reviewers found some issues with parts from other providers.

Four stars because of price, but other than that I have had no issues when using with DS220+. Rock solid
