I already purchase one years ago for my DS220 and this one its just as flawless. Will run non stop for years. In addition, you ensure that warranty and support is available since its approved by Synology (of course)

The price for the Synology brand is too expensive.

This Synology ram has the same specs as the Micron MTA4ATF51264HZ-2G6E1 which you can get on Amazon for $10-$20 but Synology slapped their name on it and their charging $90 for it. If you want to save some money get the Micron MTA4ATF51264HZ-2G6E1 instead. Ive seen Youtubers using the Micron ram on their DS920+ without any issues.

It is designed for the synology, I went with brand recommended

I dont do gaming, so I dont have an opinion about that, but this installed easily and my software for my NAS tells me it is performing as advertised. Synology OEM parts are a bit more expensive, but there dont seem to be any issues with them, whereas some other reviewers found some issues with parts from other providers.

This was a great buy I caught a sale
