This is pretty cute and my 1 year old is a big fan. He likes pulling the dinosaurs out and trying to put them back in. Hes a bit rough with them, but so far they havent torn. Id give this 5 stars if the product matched the picture, but as others have mentioned, the quantity of each color is off so you cant put it in the design thats shown. But we made ours look random and it looks good. Id buy again.

This mat is colorful and soft enough for my 8 month old son to practice his walking. Since each piece fits with one another, you can make different patterns and shapes (I actually use mine in a 5x3 rectangle to fit the room properly, leaving one square out completely). It is plenty large and baby loves to pull the pieces apart and rearrange.

Smaller than I expected but they are very cute!

We bought this for my son once he outgrew his baby activity mat. We have hard wood floors so we needed something he could play on. This mat is great- nice and big, soft, and fun to look at. My son spent a lot of time just staring at and touching the mat after we first got it and it didnt take him long to figure out how to pull pieces off of it, which just added to the fun. Hes now mobile and rarely stays put, but still comes to the mat to play with his toys.

I looked at tons of mats and reviews and went with this one. We love it! Got it when baby started sitting up to buffer her falls from the hard wood floor. Its not super thick but just the same as most mats you would buy. There was hardly a smell when I opened them. But anything packaged up long will have slight odor. I let them air out for a day and washed them with dish soap in case she may chew them. My daughter is now 12 mths and thinks the dinosaurs are great. She loves pulling them out and carries them off to toy box. She does chew the dinos sometines and they havent come apart or broken off. I havent used the edge peices, just left them in the bag.

As advertized, bought 2 for toddler playmat in room without carpet. Works well.

This mat is bright and colorful and matches my sons dinosaur nursery. As others have mentioned, the exact number of colored tiles does not match the picture here. We received four blue tiles, four orange tiles, two green, two blue, two brown. I was prepared for this thanks to the previous reviews and I was able to find a color combination that looked good! (The key was making an X out of the four blue and four orange tiles, then filling in the gaps with alternating sets of two). Overall I really like this mat, and it is certainly great for the price! Its fun that you can mix and match the similar dinosaur shapes and take them out to play with them. It is also a pretty good looking mat. We also have already gotten compliments on it from friends at play dates.

I bought this mat for my grandson to crawl/play on, after seeing a friends Alphabet mat. The alphas are large letters in the middle of the square pieces. The dinos are a little smaller and have legs & tails that Im sure will be severed by a crawling grandson as soon as he gets them out of the puzzle type mat. The dino shapes come out like a puzzle! Very cute idea, but not sure how good its going to work for little ones crawling on it. Well see, my grandson it only 6 weeks old, so I have a little while before hes able to get the pieces out! Its a very cute may & larger than I thought. The pieces are just under a foot square without the edges.
