Great for places with hardwood.

We purchased another set which was softer and thicker than this. These pads are thinner than expected. I had hoped to merge this set with an existing set and it wont work. I do love the dinosaur shapes though. I also like how theyre all a single piece. The other matt set we have has various animals and vehicles made of a variety of colored pieces and they are annoying to find pulled out and constantly re-build. This is the main thing this matt design has going for it. Otherwise more expensive matts will offer better bump protection for babies.

We purchased this and the vehicles mat and combined them to make a shape that covers the empty spaces in the room along with a traditional soft rug. It works well to cover floor around his train table. It works well while it stays in mat form, that is. My son loves taking out the shapes and putting them back in. He doesnt realize this is a cushioned floor mat, he calls this a puzzle. The dino mat is significantly easier to clean up and reassemble into a useful floor cover, but doesnt get played with nearly as much as the vehicles. From my nose I couldnt smell any chemicals, only the normal rubbery smell I would expect from such a material. We kept the plastic zipper bags this came in and it now houses blocks, so bonus storage item, too!

I love the shapes on this puzzle! They are a lot of fun! I actually bought this puzzle to attach to a letter and number puzzle I already have. However, it wasnt until I recieved the puzzle that I realized the connection teeth were 100% different. I had already ordered their vehicle puzzle to connect to my puzzle as well. I got that one and it was 100% different from BOTH puzzles I had. Very frustrating.

This mat is so cute, and perfect for my new sitter. He loves the pattern and trying to pull out the pieces. And when he falls over it provides good padding. It wipes up nicely from any messes, and as long as you dont make a practice of walking on it, it stays clean. I was worried it might be a little small, but actually it is perfect. It looks great in our living room too.

Super cute but there is NO WAY to connect it to a different mat. The grooves are way different. But if you only want a small area covered it’s perfect.

I really like this playmat easy to clean, assemble, fun colors, cute designs and when he falls on his butt, it doesnt hurt him, he continues doing his thang! Hehehe.. my little one loves to tear them apart and swinging it around. Thank you!

One set makes a good sized little area when they aren’t very mobile. As she gained mobility, we bought four more sets. Five total and they cover a huge space

I bought 2-3 packs of this mat to put it in my sons room. Did not want the alphabet number mat everyone has. This fit the bill. It was super easy to put together and helps cushion a wobbly toddler from falling down. Of note, on bare feet, your feet will make these sticker peeling noise when stepping on the mat since mat has texture on the surface this not a smooth surface. Overtime, we did notice that the thickness of the mat sightly decreased and packed down due to it being stepped on a lot.

I have bought two sets of these, and they have worked really great so far. I use them at work for my 9 month old. I have a play area set up with the mats. He crawls and sits up, and is now trying to pull up, so he has toppled a few times. The padding does its job, and he hasnt hurt himself when he has fallen. If they get dirty, they can be wiped clean easily with Clorox wipes. I didnt use the borders that came with it, I left the puzzle piece edging because he tries to eat the border and puts them in his mouth. I am worried he could bite a small piece off and choke. Very good value, and much less expensive than other mats.
