> 3 dayI have a TI-84 plus that I love but my math Calculus teacher doesnt allow graphing calculators on tests so I decided to buy this one. I was really impressed with the visual interpretation of roots and exponents. It makes it easy to look at understand immediately. 5^(3X) is shown with the 3x part above the 5 like you would handwrite it. I have used older models of this calculator and some Casios and this is easily worth the $5 extra. Everything about it works, and it works well. MathPrint is ingenious and allows you to visually see mathematical things. Like if you want an exponent on a normal calculator it would show an ^, but with mathprint it actually shows the number as a superscript on the first number. Pros: -Good display -Good visual mathematical interpretation (MathPrint) -Find y values for given xs for a function -Keys have good tactile feel and register every press (as opposed to a lot of other competitors) Cons: -Funky cover, (clip on vs. slide) but not a big issue at all. Easy to get used to. -No integral functions (which is a plus for me since I wouldnt be able to use it on a test if it did have that) Conclusion: This is a great $15 scientific calculator and I highly recommend it.

> 3 dayI am using this with an electronics course. I like that calculations dont disappear once one is completed and another is undertaken. Its very easy to read. Im not in a class and have to figure out how to perform functions on the calculator by myself, but there are YouTube videos for most things that will show you how to use it. Its common enough that there are information out there on it. Should serve you well at the price youre paying for it.

Greater than one weekFirst of all, I tried different equations to test the order of operation (OOO) and the calculator performed as expected. I even had to think because it was more correct than my brain. There are 2 types of math modes that may affect OOO, one that allows you to write as you see it in a text book and the other where you have to spell everything out like coding. FYI this was a comment that almost made me not buy this awesome calculator and as others have mentioned...the price is great. Buttons feel good, not too small. There are enough of the common functions clearly displayed and not in menus. I too wish there was a slide cover like other calculators but its not a game changer. It does all of the math that I need and I was allowed to use it for a computer based test (Pearson Professional Center). If you are not into hard core math and just need a really good calculator, I recommend this one. I mean really does everyone know how to properly use a graphing calculator in color? I am guessing not! But if you do...you may still need this backup for standardized tests.

> 3 dayThis calculator is great for home and school use when you need something better than a standard calculator but a graphing calculator is overkill. I wish there was a phone app that worked this well. It will do scientific functions. The display is easy to read. It displays fractions properly with an obvious numerator and denominator instead of the standard /. It easily converts from fraction to decimal and back as well as simplifying fractions. And it just feels easy to use.
