The calculator can do many things, including dot product, cross product, magnitude. I also find it easy easy to use.

This calculator is great and is, at the time of this review, allowed for use on the FE Exam. I love the fraction button and how easy it is to find everything. It also lets you see what you are typing, unlike the TI-X30. This calculator has all the features that I would actually use on my TI-84 without all the extra fancy stuff.

The calculator is very good overall. My only complaints are with things such as decimal to degrees/mins/seconds and vica versa. You have to navigate a bunch of menus to this basic conversion. It is actually faster to simple divide by 60 then 3600 to find the mins and seconds then to navigate the menus. The calculator suffers from not having a simply button to convert back and forth. Like a dec -> DMS button would be a huge welcome. Especially since this calculator is primarily used on the EIT/PE and LSIT/PLS exams.

Im not sure if they allow this type of calculator for the ACT. But it works well altough there are a few things I cant figure out. It helps a lot and its simple to use once you figure out where everything is but for right now Ill keep struggling.

I had to buy one of these for the FE Exam. As a lifelong TI-84 user there are some quirks, but I felt right at home and after a week using this calculator was second nature. Its reliable, relatively cheap, and full featured. My only request would be a higher resolution screen. The European version of this calculator has a higher res screen and its so much easier to read.

This calculator has become one of my favorites, I like that you dont have to worry about keeping it charged like some of the more advanced TI calculators.
