My son loves the elf on the shelf tradition! I lost his original and had to get a replacement. Highly recommend, fast shipping!

We all know about this product and in my opinion it is great and keeps children entertained and in line before Christmas. The only thing I don’t like it the glued hat. This is mot a cheap product and since it os supposed to be purchased to have it moved and posed, Maybe a different hat and also posa le arms and legs would be great.

My elf was already taken out of the box previously. Twist ties were undone. Seal broken. Disappointed.

It’s hard to give a review for this one. We adopted our elf almost 10 years ago and have great family memories with him (Eustace). Unfortunately our dog ate his face off this year, so I had to quietly find a replacement in order not to break my kids hearts. The book on the other hand is a little creepy. The idea of ‘big brother watching’ is not something that I want my kids to grow up with. Thus 4 stars (5 stars for introducing a new family member to help create more fun memories and 1 star for creepy concept book)

Im not sure who had more fun this last Christmas - me, or the kiddo. I didnt know what Elf on the Shelf was about until I was an adult, and I absolutely know I would have loved it as a kid. I like the concept of it, it is about as hard or easy as the work youre willing to put into it. I love fun mischief, as does my kiddo, so this was a great hit for us. I love that the parents have found ways of making them more flexible and I may take this upcoming year for Christmas to make modifications if I feel inclined, but honestly I found this year perfectly fine using the elf how it arrived. It does arrive with their hands tied together nicely to sit in the standard position, which we used to our advantage for a bit until we removed the thread. My only complaints are that the tag our Elf arrived with is a CVS receipt long & that the entire body is made of felt. I tried cutting off his tag and the very tip of the scissors happened to clip his arm in the process and I was a bit bummed about not being careful enough and it not strong enough. My findings this last year: Slime makes great boogers, but dont mix in candy canes if you want to make pretend puke, itll melt. Your Elf can survive the freezer. Glitter at your own risk. Remember that cats love ribbons. Keep scissors away from the Elf at all costs. If your Elf gets sick, play an occasional sneeze sound effect when your kids are around to convince them further.
