The Elf on the Shelf Girl Light, Red and White

I put off having an elf at our house for quite a few years, until finally this past year, one of my sons asked if we were gonna have one visit. So, the Elf on the Shelf came this past Christmas. It was a lot of fun to see the excitement on their faces every morning when they saw what the elf had gotten up to the night before or just looked to see where hed moved. But admittedly, it was added stress making sure the elf moved every night! lol. They like the Elf on the Shelf book, but of course the Elf himself is who they really care about. Im thankful for the plethora of ideas online for the Elf on the Shelf!

I know a lot of people have complained about their elves being mischievous, but I have found it to be the opposite. Our elf does all the extra holiday chores that my husband and I would normally do in the evenings. One night she pulled down all the Christmas boxes from the attic, she washed the dishes, folded the kids laundry, assembled the tree, and glued together the gingerbread houses so they were ready for decorating. She even brought some wrapping paper for us. Totally recommend.

doesn’t come with the white skirt you see on the box

Very cute. However, Amazon sent it by itself and put the shipping label on the middle of the front of the box. Not a huge deal but it was hard to get the label off to give as a gift.

It worked for like 3 days. Kids are over it and dont care if they are naughty or nice or if he is even watching them. They do enjoy seeing where he is every day though.

As expected, but rather pricey in my opinion.

Delivery was quick. I liked the book and story, and links to their online story boards. The kids enjoyed looking for our Fred the elf. You even get to name them. It was fun.
